Recorded 12, 14 & 15, September 2018, the album marks the first release of music from the band's new, invigorated lineup of Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Deacon Frey and Vince Gill.

The 2019 festival featured Bill Murray as the Master of Ceremonies and included electrifying performances by a "who's who" of legendary and revered guitarists.
