Saxon's self-titled debut album was originally released on 21st May 1979 and is arguably the first NWOBHM album to be committed to tape. It took the new sound of NWOBHM and paired it up with their early progressive and glam rock influences. It was the band in their infancy but ultimately put them on the map as one of the bands spearheading the heavy metal revival that was sweeping the nation at that the end of the seventies.

After years of struggling with drug and alcohol abuse, the then 62-year-oldhomeless Nashville street musician Doug Seegers' life changed overnight. A hit song catapulted him to superstar status in Sweden and since then he's played hundreds of sold out shows. Doug's two bestselling albums of original songs have received Gold and Platinum music awards in Sweden. Här ryms både<br/>country, rock, blues, soul,<br/>western swing och gospel.<br/>Det mesta är originallåtar, de<br/>flesta av Doug själv.<br/>Doug är en övertygande<br/>storyteller och mycket är ju<br/>självupplevt. Sången vittnar<br/>om stort engagemang<br/>i texterna och allt blir<br/>synnerligen trovärdigt.
