"Everybody's Somebody's Fool", a successful hit recorded by Connie Francis could describe her own private life. She was married four times and suffered many blows at the hand of fate such as the loss of her voice, being raped, and the violent death of her brother. Even the musical career of Concetta Franconero, to use her real name, was long in gathering momentum until the hit "Who's sorry now?" came along and the neatly turned-out and charming Connie became a star with no airs and graces also in Europe.
We have put together in all 19 of her original albums and additional bonus songs in this box, which, sung in many languages, show the enormous versatility of America's greatest female pop-star. There are German versions of many of her songs, but she sang also duets with Peter Kraus as well as hits by Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley, songs from musicals, Country songs, Twist songs and Jewish folk-songs.
