As these amazing tracks illustrate, she was equally at home recording in a vocal booth or singing live on stage. Whether singing simple love songs or incendiary civil rights anthems, the music is always unforgettable. Included in this set are the evergreens "Ain't Got No/I Got Life", "To Be Young, Gifted And Black", "Here Comes The Sun", "To Love Somebody" plus incredible live versions of "I Want A Little Sugar In My Bowl" and "Mississippi Goddam".
