På albumet "True North" återgår bandet till rötterna i sin låtskrivarprocess och levererar ett avskalat album, utan att offra sin konceptuella densitet. Originally released in 1973, and celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2013, Space Ritual has set the standard live albums are judged by, capturing the incredible talents of the classic Hawkwind line up; the band's one constant member since the 60's Dave Brock on guitar, founding member Nik Turner on saxophone/flute, the genius lyrics of poet Bob Calvert, the personification of heavy metal, Lemmy on bass/vocals and the earth-moving rhythm section of Simon King. The show for the Space Ritual tour was conceived as a space rock opera, the band were heavily influenced by the space race and the sci fi and fantasy of author Michael Moorcock who even collaborated with the band on numerous occasions. <br/><br/>This 2CD set brings together the remastered original album (with tracks now extended), plus three bonus tracks taken from the 2007 Collector's Edition of the album.

De svenska country rockarna Bournon Boys slog igenom under 2012 med singlarna Hillbilly Heart och Rock n' Rolling Man, och släppte sitt debutalbum våren 2013.<br/>Bourbon Boys frontas av och är uppbyggt kring låtskrivaren och sångaren Pär Hulkoff och består till stor del av samma medlemmar som svenska hårdrocksbandet Raubtier. 'Wakin On A Pretty Daze' är Kurt Viles femte studioalbum sedan han lämnade sitt tidigare band The War On Drugs. 'Wakin On A Pretty Daze' är producerad av John Agnello (Bruce Springsteen, Sonic Youth, The Kills, Dinosaur Jr., Son Volt) och inspelad i flera studios under en rundresa längs Amerikas västkust. Resultatet är ett tidlöst album som skulle låtit bra för 30 år sedan, låter bra idag och kommer låta bra även om 30 år framåt.
