"Blod och eld" är en bit svensk musikhistoria. Ett fönster mot några få år på 80-talet och några unga människor som inte kunde stå still. Världen var vidöppen och Imperiet - landets största rockband där och då - var alltid på väg framåt. Fotografen Lars Torndahl var knuten till rocktidningen Schlager under denna tid. Under tre år följde han Imperiet på turnéer i Sverige, USA och Latinamerika. Han utvecklade och fördjupade bilden av musiker till något mer personligt. Ofta berättade bilderna något annat än bara vem som avbildades. Tiden döljer alla minnen, utom de som fångats av en kamera, skriver Per Wirtén i förordet. I "Blod och Eld" finns nu drygt hundra av fotografens bilder på Imperiet samlade, varav de flesta har aldrig visats tidigare. Denna limiterade och numrerade deluxeutgåva innehåller förutom boken, även affisch, vinylsingel (andra tolkar Imperiet), liten original print, faksimil, plektrum, badge och vykort. Upplaga: 200 ex.

During the latter part of the nineteenth century, so-called esoteric movements became increasingly popular in cultural and intellectual circles in Europe, not least in Sweden. Secret teachings, rituals and practices in alchemy, astrology, occultism and theosophy were predominant, with a belief in correspondences in the cosmos, living nature and transmutations. But esotericism goes back much further in time in Swedish history. Although such esoteric ideas were long considered heresy by the Church and thus driven underground, they have had a significant impact on Swedish culture.<br/><br/>In this anthology, we bring together some of Sweden s foremost experts on the subject to explore the history of esotericism in Sweden and how its rituals, practices and traditions came to influence writers and artists such as August Strindberg, Selma Lagerlöf, Viktor Rydberg, Hilma af Klint, Tyra Kleen and Carl Milles.

Since its completion in 1937, Tegelslagaren 12 has held a modest yet striking presence in Stockholm's Södermalm district. 3RW was established in year 2000 as a young and independent office, strongly rooted in Bergen s art and cultural scene. The founding partners of 3RW were all educated (and later, also taught) at the independent Bergen School of Architecture or BAS, a school founded by Svein Hatløy, who oriented the institution towards the philosophy of open form. <br/><br/>Open form seeks to create an inclusive architecture. It conceptualizes architectural language as a democratic expression &ndash; one which allows for meaningful social transformations. Designs are to be based on and interactive with their context, material and immaterial; of the landscape and climate. <br/><br/>3RW architects regularly work on the completion of diverse sociocultural site analyses, also using this site-oriented methodology in other participation processes, both in the fields of planning and architecture. 3RW s starting point for carrying out sociocultural place analyses is supported by the understanding that a place is not reducible to its physical components, but is an ensemble made of local inhabitants experiences, memories, values and feelings. <br/><br/>These analyses help 3RW to identify the many understandings, interests, differences, wishes and needs of an area-bound population. Such analyses critically contribute to the dimension of social sustainability of projects; their purpose is to unearth the relevant aspects of the socially constructed place .
