Mötley Crüe: Theatre of Pain (40th anniversary) [4 Vinyl LP]

This is the Holy Grail of live Rush broadcasts. It is the earliest known live broadcast of Rush and is the only known live recording to feature the original line up with founding member, John Rutsey (July 23rd 1952 - May 11th 2008) on drums. This concert was filmed by CKCO-TV for the "Canadian Bandstand" program and televised on June 1st of 1974.<br/><br/>This is also the only known live recording of "Before and After" and an earliest ever known live recording of their cover version of "Bad Boy", described by legendary music journalist Stephen Thomas Erlewine as a "genuine rock & roll classic" and notes its popularity among 1960's British Invasion groups, such as the Beatles.<br/><br/><br/>Also featuring the only known live recordings of non-album Rush songs, "I've Been Runnin'" and "The Loser". <br/><br/>Specially remastered vinyl that comes in blood red vinyl with a gatefold sleeve.

Fyra och ett halvt år efter den bejublade återkomsten "Äntligen borta" släpper Jakob Hellman sitt tredje album "Slutet gott".<br/>- Om jag måste beskriva det skulle jag säga att det är en lite mer intim ton i flera av låtarna, säger Jakob själv om skivan.<br/> <br/> <br/>"Jag skriver en sång / om att va fri och va tvungen på samma gång / När jag har sjungit den till slut / ska jag gå ut och se mig om" <br/>- Allting som jag aldrig sa, Jakob Hellman (2025)<br/> <br/>Med debuten "...Och stora havet" klev Jakob Hellman 1989 in i musikhistorien och skrev om regelboken för svensk pop. Sen försvann han. <br/>Fyra och ett halvt år efter den bejublade återkomsten "Äntligen borta" (2021) släpper Hellman sitt tredje album "Slutet gott" och är därmed nere på ett album i snitt vart 12:e år.<br/> <br/>- Om jag måste beskriva det skulle jag säga att det är en lite mer intim ton i flera av låtarna. I övrigt är det väldigt välproducerad. Killarna som gjort det med mig, Erik och Jonatan, har gjort ett jättejobb. Jag tror vi har lyckats behålla våra familjer under processen. <br/> <br/>Skivan är producerad tillsammans med Erik Zetterwall och Jonatan Lundberg som båda ingår i Jakob Hellmans liveband. Den senare är också känd för sin samarbeten med artister som Mattias Alkberg och David Ritschard, samt som producent till Ellen Sundbergs Grammis-nominerade album "Ett bloss för Bodil Malmsten". <br/> <br/>Redan i våras släpptes en första singel, "Drömmare". En låt som Hellman-fansen sen decennier tillbaka känner igen från tidiga stadier av utveckling. En förlorad skatt som äntligen fick sin slutgiltiga form som duett med Laleh.<br/> <br/>- Det är flera halvgamla låtar som jag tagit upp och restaurerat. Blandat med helt nya, precis som förra skivan. De har ändrat skepnad en hel del under resan gång, under inspelningen det senaste året. Vi har haft flera deadlinens som vi... ja, ignorerat.<br/>Strax innan albumsläppet kom också singeln "Är det upp till dig och mig" som hör till de senast komponerade melodierna på albumet.

Neil Young continues his Official Release Series (ORS) with the next installment of four classic titles from the 1990s. ORS Vol 6: Discs 26, 27, 28 & 29 collects HARVEST MOON, UNPLUGGED, SLEEPS WITH ANGELS and MIRROR BALL in the ongoing reissue series. <br/><br/>Each disc in the limited edition, numbered box sets will contain 4 albums with the original, historically accurate artwork and will be reissued on double vinyl LPs, while the CD box contains single CD sets per title. MIRROR BALL is an analog recording and the album has been remastered from the original analog masters by John Hanlon and Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering. Additionally, four of the tracks have been remixed by John Hanlon and Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering. ("I'm The Ocean", "Big Green Country", "Truth Be Known", "Throw Your Hatred Down"<br/> <br/>HARVEST MOON (ORS Disc 26), originally released in 1992, helped open a new decade of Young's music with what would become instant new classics like the title track "Harvest Moon," "From Hank to Hendrix," and "One of These Days." It included originals written in the 1980s as well as brand new songs, which quickly became fan favorites and one of the most beloved albums in Young's recorded output. <br/> <br/>UNPLUGGED (ORS Disc 27), originally released in 1993, was first recorded for an MTV Unplugged concert, along with additional live recordings. Young thoughtfully assembled a group of musicians he had recorded with over the years for this special aggregation that quickly became a collector's item as tapes were first shared from the show among his fans. The official live album is considered an acoustic one-of-a-kind release from Young's 90's cannon. <br/> <br/>SLEEPS WITH ANGELS (ORS Disc 28), originally released in 1994, is an album that wrote its own legend when released. Including the 14-minute song "Change Your Mind" and "Unknown Legend," it had a distinctiveness with Crazy Horse that Young achieved by keeping the sessions as spontaneous and immediate as possible allowing the tracks to breathe and come to life in real time. SLEEPS WITH ANGELS was the last album to be produced by Neil's long-time collaborator David Briggs, who passed away in 1995 at age 51, which also brings a special meaning to these recordings. <br/> <br/>MIRROR BALL (ORS Disc 29), is a double-album originally released in 1995 and recorded with Pearl Jam. Considering the Seattle band was one of the prime movers of rock bands in the 1990s, it was an event immediately upon its release, and found a rabid, younger audience and inspired long-time fans alike with its inherent high energy. Songs like "I Am The Ocean," "Throw Your Hatred Down" helped impact so much of the second half of the 1990s. <br/> <br/>The OFFICIAL RELEASE SERIES VOLUME 6 - DISCS 26, 27, 28 & 29 (ORS Vol 6) captures a large visceral part of the era, when Young was continuing his exploration of music with an unrelenting edge, in ways that he hadn't really done before. These four releases took him towards a new century, and anticipated some of the musical places he would soon explore. The songs also capture some of the massive changes that the 2000s would bring, and ways that music would take on challenges that are still very much being met.

I mitten av 70-talet började Schenker så<br/>spela med UFO och när han sedan bildade MSG cementerade han sin roll som en av rockens mest tongivande gitarrister.<br/><br/>2024 släppte han ett album som hyllade hans år med UFO, men nu kommer ett helt nytt, efterlängtat studioalbum som fått titeln "Don't Sell Your Soul".<br/><br/>Bakom mikrofonen hittar vi ingen mindre än vår egen Erik Grönwall, sin generations allra bästa rockröst. Från H.E.A.T, via Skid Row, så har han bevisat att han är en frontman av rang. Grönwall delar på detta album sången med Robin McAuley, Dimitri 'Lia' Liapakis och Michael<br/>Voss.
