Skivan fångar bandets upplaga med två gitarrister, efter släppet av skivan "Rubicon" året innan, och innebar ett farväl till originaltrummisen Fredrik Jansson (som gick vidare till Witchcraft) och ett välkomnande av hans efterträdare Fredrik Liefvendahl (tidigare i Grand Magus och Backdraft) på studiobonusspåret "I evighetens nav".

1964 was the year that the U.S.A. first fell head-over-heels for The Beatles, with an unprecedented run of albums and singles topping the charts and going on to sell millions of copies. But these albums are not simply replicas of the 1963 and 1964 albums released by Parlophone in the UK and rest of world. Legendariska och banbrytande Träd, Gräs och Stenar räknas som Sveriges äldsta rockband inom psykedelisk undergroundmusik. Gruppen bildades ursprungligen 1967 under namnet International Harvester, blev sedan Harvester och utvecklades så småningom till Träd, Gräs och Stenar. Deras unika blandning av psykedelisk rock och svensk folkmusik var banbrytande då - och fortsätter att tala till nya generationer lyssnare än idag.<br/><br/>Det här efterlängtade "Gröna albumet" från 1970 var deras allra första utgivning under namnet Träd, Gräs och Stenar. Nu återutges det för första gången sedan originalsläppet - på vinyl, med sällsynta fotografier, en fördjupande text och en 30x60 cm stor poster.<br/><br/>Decennier senare lever bandet vidare under namnet TRÄDEN, nu med endast en ursprungsmedlem kvar.
