In 'Resident Evil' (2002) a virus has been sealed in an underground research centre known as the Hive, and Alice (Milla Jovovich) and Rain (Michelle Rodriguez) are sent in with a team of commandos to destroy it. However, they have failed to anticipate that all the employees who were trapped in the Hive with the virus, and thought to be dead, have been turned into the living dead and one scratch from them can cause the recipient to become like them... In 'Resident Evil: Apocalypse' (2004) Alice finds herself stuck in the contaminated Raccoon City after the re-opening of the deadly Hive. The infamous Umbrella Corporation has banned anyone from leaving in case of possible infection with the outside world. Along with other survivors Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory) and Carlos Oliviera (Oded Fehr), Alice must fight for her survival, and do all she can to escape the nightmare necropolis. Together, the small band of survivors seeks out eminent scientist Dr Charles Ashford (Jared Harris), the only man with the knowledge to help them out of their awful entrapment - but they soon discover that Ashford's co-operation comes at a heavy price. In the third film, 'Resident Evil: Extinction' (2007), Alice is alone, years after the Raccoon City disaster, and aware that she has become a liability and likely to endanger those around her. She is struggling to survive and bring down the Umbrella Corporation led by the sinister Albert Wesker (Jason O'Mara) and head researcher Dr. Isaacs (Iain Glen). Meanwhile, travelling through the Nevada Desert and the ruins of Las Vegas, Carlos Oliviera, L.J. (Mike Epps), and new survivors K-Mart (Spencer Locke), Claire Redfield (Ali Larter), and Betty (Ashanti) are fighting to survive against hordes of zombies, killer crows and other terrible creatures spawned by the deadly T-virus that has killed millions. In 'Resident Evil: Afterlife' (2010) Alice continues her fight against the Umbrella Corporation. Following new information, she heads to Los Angeles where she seeks out any survivors of the T-virus epidemic. The group of survivors, including Jill Valentine and Claire Redfield, attempt to strengthen their numbers and find refuge, but can they escape the zombie-infested city before it's too late? In 'Resident Evil: Retribution' (2012) Alice finds herself at the very heart of Umbrella's operation facility, having been captured by the organisation. Aware that Umbrella hold the secret to her past, Alice sets out to explore the facility in search of the truth and those responsible for the initial virus outbreak. Along the way she teams up with other survivors of the disaster as the battle against Umbrella and the zombies rages on. Finally, in 'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter' (2016), humanity is on the brink of extinction as Alice returns to Raccoon City to try to stop Umbrella from launching one final attack on the remaining survivors. Utåt ser de ut precis som "vanliga" människor. De är trevliga och vänliga och hävdar att de kommer i fred och vänskap. Några personer i femtekolonnen lyckades ta reda på deras verkliga planer, att ta över jorden. Det visar sig att utomjordingarna inte alls är människor, utan ödleliknande varelser med klonad människohud som de döljer deras reptilskinn och att de har funnits på jorden långt innan rymdskeppen anlände.<br/><br/>Under flera år har de nästlat sig in bland vanliga människor och det är mycket svårt att avgöra vilka som är rymdvarelser. En del rymdvarelser har också infiltrerat motståndsrörelsen och blivit terrorister för att försöka skapa onödiga krig. Viss terrorism och vissa krig påstås vara skapade av ödlorna. Men det finns också ödlor som deserterat från sina uppdrag och istället försöker leva som människor på riktigt. Några ödlor har till och med blivit förälskade i människor.<br/><br/>TV-serien är en nyproduktion baserad på den äldre TV-serien från 1984. Handlingen har samma tema som originalet men mycket skiljer sig också.

In 'Species II' (1998) Dr. Laura Baker has created a pseudo-alien clone, Eve (Henstridge), to assist her research after another series of alien killings begins. Reuniting with Preston Lennox, Laura realises that astronaut Patrick Ross (Justin Lazard), recently returned from Mars, is the culprit. Having become infected with the alien virus, he is now obsessed with spreading his seed across planet Earth. In 'Species III' (2004) a fatal hybrid weakness has given humans the advantage in the ongoing fight for supremacy between mankind and human/alien hybrids. However, when Sara (Sunny Mabrey), the daughter of Eve is born, she grows into the most genetically perfect alien form yet. Seeking to repopulate her kind, she heeds an overwhelming drive to mate, while a skilled military team trails her in an attempt to end the war between the two species forever. Finally, in 'Species IV - The Awakening' (2007), college professor Miranda Hollander (Helena Mattsson) realises something is wrong when she wakes up from a blackout surrounded by mutilated bodies. Seeking an explanation from her uncle, she learns the horrifying truth: she is the result of a cloning of human and alien DNA. Travelling to Mexico to confront the scientist responsible, she soon becomes the target of a stream of ravenous mutants.
