Vidare beskrivs i valda delar central lagstiftning av betydelse för socialtjänsten, t.ex. föräldrabalken, offentlighets- och sekretesslagen (OSL) och hälso­ och sjukvårdslagen. <br/><br/>Sedan föregående upplaga har ett flertal ändringar gjorts i författningarna på socialtjänstens område. Här ska nämnas bl.a. följande. <br/><br/>Ett statligt stöd i form av fritidskort för barns fritidsaktiviteter har införts.
