Indierock-kungen Kurt Vile är tillbaka med ett nytt album efter ett fyra år långt uppehåll. För ett par år sedan gjorde han sig ett namn i indievärlden med albumet "Lotta Sea Lice" som gjordes i samarbete med Courtney Barnett. <br/><br/>Vile har gjort sig känd som en framstående gitarrist med sin unika, nästan skämtsamma spelstil. <br/><br/>På självproducerade "(watch my moves)" visar Vile mer än någonsin upp sig som en artist och låtskrivare som befinner sig under ständig utveckling och som besitter förmågan att beröra sina fans med både texter och musik. Albumet gästas bland annat av James Stewart (Sun Ra Arkestra), Chastity Belt, Cate Le Bon, och Stella Mozgawa (War Paint). Självklart medverkar också hans band The Violators. Som en extra krydda har Vile valt att också inkludera en cover av Bruce Springsteens "Wages Of Sin".

In 1976 the seminal line-up of Motorhead was solidified a year after the band's initial inception. The 'three amigos' era of Motorhead; Lemmy (bass/vocals), Fast Eddie Clarke (guitar) and Phil 'Philthy Animal' Taylor joined forces and began their extraordinary journey to the top of the hard rock elite. <br/> <br/>In August 1976 the band set up at Emerson, Lake & Palmer's legendary Manticore Studio in Fulham to rehearse and showcase the new lineup. While they were there they recorded together for the very first time and now 49 years later, the long lost tape has been discovered, dusted off and restored in all it's raw glory, to celebrate the bands 50th anniversary.<br/><br/>Additionally the deluxe bookpack comes with an extra bonus LP - the classic bonus Live: Blitzkrieg on Birmingham '77 as well as a bonus 7" featuring two previously unreleased tracks live at Barbarellas Birmingham in 1977. I hope you enjoy them." <br/> <br/>From the lo-fi exploration of LA Garage Sessions '83, serving as a crucial link between Nebraska and Born in the U.S.A., to the drum loop and synthesizer sounds of Streets of Philadelphia Sessions, The Lost Albums offer unprecedented context to 35 prolific years of Springsteen's songwriting and home recording. "The ability to record at home whenever I wanted allowed me to go into a wide variety of different musical directions," Springsteen explained. Throughout the set, that sonic experimentation takes the form of film soundtrack work (for a movie that was never made) on Faithless, country combos with pedal steel on Somewhere North of Nashville, richly woven border tales on Inyo, orchestra-driven, mid-century noir on Twilight Hours and E Street favored rock on Perfect World.<br/> <br/>The Lost Albums are available in limited-edition nine-LP format, including original packaging for each previously unreleased record, with a 100-page cloth-bound, hardcover book featurimng rare archival photos, liner notes on each lost album from essayist Erik Flannigan and a personal introduction on the project from Springsteen himself.

Lookin' For Trouble, The Dead Daisies' first full-length blues album, was imagined in March 2024 during sessions for their upcoming rock album, Light 'Em Up. After recording at Sienna Studios in Nashville, the band moved to Muscle Shoals, Alabama, to complete the album at the iconic FAME Studios. The famous sign above the entryway reads: "Through these doors walk the finest Musicians, Songwriters, Artists, and Producers in the World." This is as true today as it was in 1961. Since it first opened its doors, FAME has welcomed a literal who's who of music royalty with legends like Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, and Etta James recording their classic hits there. Stepping into the same space the band - John Corabi, David Lowy, Doug Aldrich, Michael Devin, and drummer Sarah Tomek found themselves drawn into the deep musical legacy of the blues. After their rock sessions wrapped each night, they started jamming on blues classics for fun. Producer Marti Frederiksen quickly recognised the magic happening and pressed record. What started as impromptu late-night sessions evolved into Lookin' For Trouble, an album that crackles with the raw energy and rebellious spirit that made blues the foundation of rock 'n' roll.
