'Memento Mori: Mexico City' features over 2 hours of live music from Depeche Mode's sold out September 2023 concert at the legendary Foro Sol Stadium plus 4 previously unreleased bonus tracks from the Memento Mori Sessions. The concert was also filmed for 'Depeche Mode: M,' the cinematic experience which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2025. The album includes classics like "Enjoy The Silence," "Personal Jesus," and "It's No Good" on 2 CDs plus 16 pages of live photos from the show.

Publiken bestod av otroliga 1,5 miljoner människor, som bevittnade den ditintills största gratisspelningen i världen. Vi får avnjuta konserten både från luften och med hjälp av de dussintals kameror som placerats på och runt scenen.<br/><br/>Den här konserten släpptes för första gången 2007, men den här nya versionen inkluderar den kompletta konserten som här har remixats, remastrats och klippts om. Hela fyra spår som inte kom med på första versionen inkluderas här, bland dom klassiker som "Tumbling Dice" och "Sympathy For The Devil". Rolling Stones är i sitt esse och framför bland annat "It's Only Rock 'n' Roll (But I Like It)", "Brown Sugar", "Start Me Up", "Wild Horses" och självklart också "Satisfaction".

Along with a new remaster of the core album, it includes the band's earliest demos (never previously released), an unreleased 1979 concert from Troon and a swathe of BBC John Peel sessions. <br/><br/>The set's DVD includes the legendary Rough Trade 1979 SLF promotional film (unreleased and uncirculating) along with concert footage from Friars in Aylesbury originally broadcast on BBC's Old Grey Whistle Test in 1980 and a rare clip of 'Alternative Ulster' from the 1979 film Shellshock Rock. <br/><br/>The booklet features rare memorabilia and images from the time with 9,000-word liner notes from former NME journalist Stuart Bailie (author of Trouble Songs: Music and conflict in Northern Ireland) including fresh interviews with original band members and manager/lyricist Gordon Ogilvie
