Vax Records fyller härmed en lucka i den svenska populära musikhistorien. Berättelsen om den framgångsrika sångkvartetten Wiggers - som på sin tid var stilbildande och som fick en mycket stor framgång via folkparker, skivor, radio, biofilmer - men som idag är helt bortglömd. <br/>Kvartetten tillhörde 1930-talets absoluta artistelit. De var först i Sverige med att popularisera kvartettsång och kallades "de första svenska jazzsångarna". De fyra medlemmarna kom från Operakören och inspirerades av internationella grupper som The Revellers och Comedian Harmonists.<br/>Den kompletta skivboken om Wiggers är också den första utgåvan i serien "Svenska historiska inspelningar" som består av en fyllig biografisk bok om artisten/gruppen, många bilder och när det gäller Wiggers, en komplett utgivning av deras inspelningar på sex medföljande CD-skivor.<br/>Flera av skivinspelningar finns inte ens bevarade i Kungliga bibliotekets 78-varvssamling. Det är alltså ett mycket unikt material som sammanställts till eftervärlden. Följ denna unika satsning från början, en tidsmaskin i text, bilder och ljud, som uppmärksammar vår svenska populära kulturhistoria.<br/>Förutom Wiggers medverkar många av tidens stora artister på inspelningarna, som Zarah Leander, Artur Rolén, Sven Olof Sandberg, Evert Taube samt några av den tidens mest framstående orkestrar som Håkan von Eichwalds, Karl Wehles, Gustaf Egerstams, Nils Grevillius och Sune Waldimirs.

With the story behind Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska set to be explored by the feature film Deliver Me From Nowhere, Nebraska '82: Expanded Edition (four CDs + one Blu-Ray) gathers revelatory unheard material from this prolific period including the fabled Electric Nebraska sessions with the E Street Band and solo home and studio recordings, joined by a 2025 remaster of the original album, plus a new performance film of all ten Nebraska songs played in sequence.<br/><br/>Springsteen's 1982 acoustic masterwork is augmented by 17 contemporary recordings (15 previously unreleased) that were part of the groundswell of inspiration that shaped Nebraska and share its haunting themes. Together, they expand our understanding of how this seminal album came to be and reflect the breadth of Springsteen's creative intentions at a pivotal moment in his artistic development.<br/><br/>The Bluray features the present-day performance film of the "Nebraska" album - played in sequence for the first time ever and captured at New Jersey's Count Basie Theatre by Thom Zimny.

Produced by Keith Olsen, the album was released in September 1973, just a year prior to the pair joining forces with Fleetwood Mac on New Year's Eve 1974.<br/>Buckingham Nicks has achieved legendary status despite, and perhaps due to the fact, that it has never been remastered, reissued, or officially released digitally. Until now. This was the album that caught Mick Fleetwood's attention and led them becoming one of the most successful bands of all time.<br/><br/>LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM: "I met Mick right before New Year's Eve in 1974. Stevie and I were living in LA. We'd done an album on Polydor as a duo, which had come out without making much of a splash, and we were trying to figure out what the hell to do next. Anyway, we were doing demos of new tunes one day at Sound City studio in the San Fernando Valley. At one point I walked towards the control room. I heard a song of ours, "Frozen Love", being played very loudly and I saw this giant of a man standing up, grooving to a guitar solo of mine. I thought, "What is goin' on?", and left them to it. That man was Mick.<br/>When he heard my guitar something obviously clicked in his mind, because after their guitarist Bob Welch left, I got a call from Mick asking if I wanted to join Fleetwood Mac. Originally they weren't looking for a duo, but I said Stevie and I were a package deal."

När Paradox upplöstes 1970 gick Bob ihop med Tony Clarkin och Magnum bildades, som inte behöver någon presentation i världen av brittisk hårdrock. De fick ett riktigt genombrott när Jeff Glixman producerade Chase the dragon i början av åttiotalet, då hade Magnum skapat sitt eget klassiska sound och åtnjöt kommersiell framgång. Men när Clarkin svängde in i en annan stil med sitt band Hard Rain bestämde sig Bob Catley för att gå solo och det var då som The Tower släpptes med stark input från Gary Hughes från Ten. "The Beatles Anthology" Documentary Series.<br/>Now a Nine-Part Series Featuring a Brand-new Episode Nine.<br/><br/>The Beatles' landmark "Anthology" documentary series has been restored and remastered. <br/>The series' original eight episodes trace the legendary journey that began in Liverpool and Hamburg and soon captivated the world. They bring to life the timeless stories - of Beatlemania, the band's groundbreaking arrival in the USA, their role at the forefront of the 1960s counterculture, their spiritual exploration in India, and their eventual breakup. And through it all, the constant thread: the music, always the music.<br/>There is now a completely new Episode Nine, including unseen behind-the-scenes footage of Paul, George and Ringo coming together between 1994 and 1995 to work on "The Anthology" and reflecting on their shared life as The Beatles. <br/>The restoration has been overseen by Apple Corps' production team, working with Peter Jackson's Wingnut Films & Park Road Post teams along with Giles Martin, who has created new audio mixes for the majority of the featured music.<br/><br/>The musical side of The Anthology Collection, originally curated by George Martin, now remastered by Giles Martin, in the form of three double albums of rare material, a shadow story to the one told in the documentaries. They are an enthralling insight into the early development of songs that became the recorded masterpieces that resonate just as loudly today as they did when they were first recorded. <br/>It also has an important new element. Anthology 4, newly curated by Giles, includes 13 previously unreleased demos and session recordings and other rare recordings. It also includes new mixes of The Beatles' Anthology-associated hit singles: the GRAMMY-winning "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love," given new life by their original producer, Jeff Lynne, using de-mixed John Lennon vocals. <br/>The original "Free As A Bird" music video has also been beautifully restored.<br/>Both new mixes are placed alongside the band's most recent UK No. 1 hit single, 2023's GRAMMY-winning "Now And Then," the last Beatles song. Ett av de större hårdrocksbanden i mitten av 80-talet var amerikansk/danska White Lion. Med danske frontmannen Mike Tramp i spetsen släppte de klassiska album som "Fight To Survive", "Pride", "Big Game" och "Mane Attracion". De hade hits som "Wait" och "When The Children Cry". Bandet splittrades i början av 90-talet och Mike Tramp har sedan dess haft en framgångsrik solokarriär. Här kommer del III av hans omarbetade White Lion-låtar. Här finns alltså omarbetade och nyinspelade låtar ur White Lions låtskatt. Här inkluderas bland annat "Fight To Survive", "All Burn In Hell" och "Radar Love".
