TRACKS II: THE LOST ALBUMS are seven unheard Bruce Springsteen records made between 1983-2018.<br/> <br/>Featuring 82 previously unreleased songs, The Lost Albums fill in chapters of Springsteen's expansive career timeline, while offering invaluable insight into his life and work as an artist. "The Lost Albums were full records, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released," said Springsteen. "I've played this music to myself and often close friends for years now. I'm glad you'll get a chance to finally hear them. I hope you enjoy them." <br/> <br/>From the lo-fi exploration of LA Garage Sessions '83, serving as a crucial link between Nebraska and Born in the U.S.A., to the drum loop and synthesizer sounds of Streets of Philadelphia Sessions, The Lost Albums offer unprecedented context to 35 prolific years of Springsteen's songwriting and home recording. "The ability to record at home whenever I wanted allowed me to go into a wide variety of different musical directions," Springsteen explained. Throughout the set, that sonic experimentation takes the form of film soundtrack work (for a movie that was never made) on Faithless, country combos with pedal steel on Somewhere North of Nashville, richly woven border tales on Inyo, orchestra-driven, mid-century noir on Twilight Hours and E Street favored rock on Perfect World.<br/> <br/>The Lost Albums are available in limited-edition seven-CD format, including original packaging for each previously unreleased record, with a 100-page cloth-bound, hardcover book featurimng rare archival photos, liner notes on each lost album from essayist Erik Flannigan and a personal introduction on the project from Springsteen himself.

I boxen ingår även fyra fullmatade bonusskivor, "Singlar, duetter, outgivet och annat vol. 1-4". Där finns hits, obskyra B-sidor, höjdpunkter ur musikalsuccén "Spök!", samarbetet med låtskrivaren David Foster, och mycket mer. <br/>En stor del av materialet släpps på CD för första gången. <br/><br/>"Jag har själv aldrig ens kunnat föreställa mig att alla mina skivor skulle komma att samlas i en så här fin liten box. Men här är de - och lite till, säger en stolt Björn Skifs och fortsätter:<br/>"Det är både enastående och smått ofattbart. Before his death in January, legendary guitarist Jeff Beck revisited concert recordings made by Beck, Bogert & Appice, the power trio he formed in 1972 with drummer/singer Carmine Appice and bassist/singer Tim Bogert. The live music captures the band at the beginning and end of its short-but-influential partnership, with two shows in Japan in 1973 and one of the group's final performances in London a year later.<br/><br/>All three band members were involved in creating LIVE IN JAPAN 1973, LIVE IN LONDON 1974, and the collection is dedicated to Beck and Bogert, who died in 2023 and 2021, respectively. The set includes an expansive booklet with extended liner notes detailing the group's history by music journalist/manager Bruce Pilato, along with memorabilia, archival photos, and a replica poster.<br/><br/>Beck and Appice mixed all the concerts in this set from the original multi-tracks that had been in Beck's archive for almost 50 years, thus knocking the many bootleg quality releases, that Beck hated, out of the park! The two performances at Koseinenkin Hall in Osaka, Japan (recorded May 18 and 19, 1973) were released exclusively in Japan a few months after the shows, but never in the U.S. The complete concert at the Rainbow Theatre in London, England (recorded January 26, 1974) has never been released anywhere. <br/><br/>In the booklet, Pilato explores the short existence and lasting legacy of Beck, Bogert & Appice, a supergroup that critics once hailed as "the first successor to Cream" (Melody Maker) and an "ensemble of virtually unparalleled magnificence" (NME). <br/><br/>LIVE IN JAPAN 1973 was recorded only a few weeks after Beck, Bogert & Appice's self-titled debut came out. The music ripples with raw energy as the group delivers exhilarating live versions of nearly every song on the album, including "Superstition," "Lady," and "Livin' Alone." The trio also played songs by the Yardbirds ("Jeff's Boogie") and the Jeff Beck Group ("Morning Dew" and "Going Down.")

Tretton av dessa låtar har aldrig tidigare getts ut fysiskt och sju av dessa tretton spår har<br/>överhuvudtaget aldrig tidigare getts ut. Bandet delar dessutom med sig av mestadels privata bilder samt ett förord skrivet av journalisten Per Bjurman.<br/><br/>En fantastisk sammanfattning av ett av Sveriges största och mest framgångrika rockband under 2000-talet.

Nonesuch releases a deluxe edition of Wilco's 2004 Grammy Award-winning album A Ghost Is Born. The box set comprises nine CDs - including the original album, alternates, outtakes, and demos, charting the making of A Ghost Is Born-plus the complete 2004 concert recording from Boston's Wang Center and the band's "fundamentals" workshop sessions. It includes sixty-five previously unreleased music tracks as well as a forty-eight-page hardcover book with previously unpublished photos and a new liner note by Grammy-winning writer Bob Mehr. An alternate version of "Handshake Drugs," recorded during the studio sessions at New York's Sear Sound, twenty-one years ago this month, on November 13, 2003, is available now.<br/> <br/>A Ghost Is Born was released commercially on June 22, 2004, debuting at No. 8 on the Billboard chart. The album, which Mehr calls "an eclectic array of dark ballads, upbeat pop songs, Krautrock chug, noise rock freakouts, and roots rock abandon," was widely acclaimed as one of 2004's best, appearing in year-end lists of Mojo, NPR, NME, the Associated Press, The Wire, Rolling Stone, the Village Voice, and Uncut, among many others. The album earned the band its first Grammy, for Best Alternative Music Album. The album also won a Grammy for Best Recording Package.
