The original double album included 22 tracks, selected from the two shows Dylan played at the legendary Budokan hall in Tokyo on February 28 and March 1, 1978 during his first ever tour of Japan. Fast forward to 2006, when our Japanese office found the original multi-track tapes to both full shows in their archives. It's taken 17 long years since then but we are now finally getting ready to release all 58 songs from the two nights that were recorded in a fantastic new mix by the original engineer Tom Suzuki and with new artwork by the original art director Teruhisa Tajima. <br/><br/>All songs from the two shows Dylan played at the legendary Budokan hall in Tokyo on February 28 and March 1, 1978 during his first ever tour of Japan. All 58 songs from the two nights were recorded in a fantastic new mix by the original engineer Tom Suzuki and with new artwork by the original art director Teruhisa Tajima.<br/><br/>4-CD box set including 58 songs, 36 of which are previously unreleased. This will be a stunning 12x12 inch box set with a 60-page book including tons of unseen photography, a copy of the original 20-page tour book, ticket stub replicas, two posters and two facsimile print ads.<br/> <br/>Note: this release is not part of the Bootleg Series.

Bob Dylans första utgåva i The Bootleg Series, volum 1-3 släpptes ursprungligen 1991. Boxen som innehöll 5 LP skivor med rariteter och tidigare ej outgivet material som varit utgången i många år innan den nyligen gjordes tillgänglig igen. Nu finns den som en bookset utgåva. Vi kan ta del av 58 låtar från åren 1961-1991 på 3CD. Boken innehåller även en 36-sidig bok.

Bob Dylans första album med enbart originalkompositioner. På detta album finns bl.a. sånger som handlar om social orättvisa som "Only a pawn in their game", "The lonesome death of Hattie Caroll" samt "With God on our side". Känsliga låtar som "One too many mornings, "Boots of spanish leather". Denna Legacy-utgivning innehåller allt som fanns med på vinylutgåvan, samt ej tidigare publicerade foton från inspelningen.
