Jethro Tull skivdebuterade 1968 med "This was". Sedan gav de ut ett album om året ända fram till 1980! Det kunde till och med bli två om det var en liveplatta också. 1971 kom det stora genombrottet "Aqualung". Med sin mix av hård rock och folkmelodier, tillsammans med Ian Andersons unika sång och flöjtspel är plattan helt unik. Här finner vi också några av de bästa låtar gruppen gjort. Albumet är delvis en hård attack på framför allt den engelska kyrkan och hur den organiserade religionen förstört relationen till Gud. En klockren klassiker!

After two consecutive new Jethro Tull album releases in 2022 and 2023, another collection - 'Curious Ruminant' - is unleashed! Consisting of nine tracks varying in length from two and half minutes to almost seventeen minutes, this is an album of mostly full band music. Amongst the musicians featured are former keyboardist Andrew Giddings and drummer James Duncan, along with the current band members David Goodier, John O'Hara, Scott Hammond and, making his recording debut with the band, guitarist Jack Clark.<br/><br/>This version is a Special Edition CD 6-panel Digipak and comes with a 20-page booklet.

Jethro Tull celebrates the 50th anniversary of their eight studio album, Minstrel in the Gallery, with a new marbled vinyl. Originally released on 5th September 1975, the album saw the band going in a different direction from their previous work and returning to a blend of electric and acoustic songs. The new 1LP is using Steven Wilson's remix of the album.<br/><br/>That juxtaposition of acoustic and electric has been a feature of Jethro Tull's music throughout their career, but is perhaps never better exemplified than on Minstrel In The Gallery which, after earlier albums' tags of 'blues' and 'prog', is unequivocally a 'rock' album, albeit with a maturity and sophistication both lyrically and harmonically which highlighted Tull's originality.<br/><br/>It was the last album of theirs to feature bassist Jeffery Hammond. Minstrel in the Gallery was a top 20 album across the world and has since been certified gold in the US and Canada and silver in the UK.
