SUPERB 1996 SOUTH AMERICAN BROADCAST - ON STUNNING CLEAR VINYL!!!<br/><br/>In 1993, Ritchie Blackmore reformed Rainbow with all-new members, featuring Scottish singer Doogie White. The band released 'Stranger In Us All' in 1995, and embarked on a lengthy world tour. The tour proved successful, and the live shows featured frequent changes in set lists, and musical improvisations that proved popular with fans and critics alike. Perhaps the very finest show of the tour was performed at Teatro Monumental in Santiago, Chile, on 26th June 1996. The show was recorded for live FM Radio Broadcast across the country. Including a quite stunning track-list and an ambiance that defies belief, it remains a fan favourite almost 30 years since this spectacular concert was performed. The concert however remains unreleased on vinyl until now, when this 2LP set features the entire radio broadcast for the first time.

Bent Out Of Shape was the seventh and last studio album before Blackmore and Glover took part in the Deep Purple reformation.This album is the most "americanized" album of all Rainbows album and it's more or less pure AOR, and it's obvoius that Foreigner is one of Ritchies favourite-bands. For me as an AOR-lover - this is a great album. The Purple and Rainbow-audience from the 70's probably hated this album, but if you see on it for what it is, it's great. "Street Of Dreams", "Desperate Hearts", "Stranded" and "Can't Let You Go" are all superb in the genre. It's actually not more to say about it... Well - for me as a complete nerd of the band I can also mention that the LP has "Desperate Heart" at 4:04, whilst the cassette has this track at 04:36, repeating the verse after the guitar solo. Similarly, "Make Your Move" is 03:56 on the LP, yet 05:25 on the cassette, on account of a reprise of a bridge section and a much longer playout. <br/><br/>(I samarbete med Melodic Net)

Ritchie Blackmore är en av en handfull gitarrister som kommit att forma hela hårdrocksgenren. Tillsammans med Deep Purple skapade han histora, och han var också ytterst framgånsrik med Rainbow, där han skapade magi tillsammans med en annan legendar: Ronnie James Dio. Denna live är från 1977 och bandet framför här klassisker som "Mistreated", "Man On The Silver Mountain" och "Long Live Rock N' Roll".
