Where does a body end? is a intimate portrait of SWANS. From their roots as a confrontational post-punk band that emerged in the early 1980s era NYC that gave us Sonic Youth and Madonna, to their odds-defying status as one of the most accomplished and ambitious bands in the world, and one whose concerts are more like ecstatic rituals of sound than trips through their most popular songs.
