A renowned competitor and two-time winner of The Open Championship himself, Tom hopes his son will follow in his footsteps and become a caddie for wealthy local golfers before hopefully earning a place as a greenkeeper. However, determined not to remain in his father's shadow, the headstrong Tommy goes against Tom's wishes and sets out on a quest to become a respected touring professional competing at the highest level possible.
