The saga begins with 'The Omen' (1976), when US Ambassador Robert Thorn (Gregory Peck) is persuaded to substitute a newborn baby whose mother has died in childbirth for his own stillborn son. By the age of five the child, Damien, seems to be exerting a malevolent influence on the Thorn household. Thorn searches for an answer to his son's behaviour and meets maverick priest Father Brennan (Patrick Troughton), who tries to convince him that Damien is in fact the Antichrist. The Ambassador at first dismisses this as the rantings of a religious maniac, but subsequent events suggest that maybe the priest has a point. The second film, 'Damien - Omen 2' (1978), picks up events a few years later, with the now-orphaned Damien turning 13 and living with his adoring aunt and uncle. Aunt Marion (Lee Grant) is the first to suspect there is more to Damien than adolescent angst, leading to her swift dispatch by a killer raven. As for Damien, he is making his mark at military school, and is dismayed to discover his true demonic identity - but not for long. The third film, 'Omen 3 - The Final Conflict' (1981), finds the young devil all grown up and heading a multinational company. He is about to be appointed US Ambassador to England, a position which will enable him to take over the world and thus fulfil the terrible forecasts of scripture. But there is opposition in the form of a bunch of monks with sacred daggers who will do everything necessary to prevent Satan's enthronement. In 'Omen 4 - The Awakening' (1991), although the Anti-Christ Damien expired in 'The Final Conflict', he had a daughter who has been adopted by an aspiring politician and his wife. As she grows up she begins to exercise her evil powers in a series of bizarre 'accidents'. In the 2006 remake, Liev Schreiber stars as Robert Thorn, with Julia Stiles as his wife, as the conflicted couple gradually come to realise that their child Damien (Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick) is the son of Satan.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

In 'Die Hard With a Vengeance' (1995), McClane becomes involved in a twisted game of Simon Says when an evil terrorist (Jeremy Irons) sends him dashing all over the city in an effort to find a series of explosive devices. Teaming up with electrician Zeus Carver (Samuel L. Jackson), McClane soon discovers that the bombs are an elaborate ruse intended to provide cover for a billion dollar bank job. 'Die Hard 4.0' (2007) finds McClane routinely asked to bring in computer hacker Matt Farrell (Justin Long) for questioning. In transit, events overtake them as they witness a full-scale cyber attack on the country's infrastructure led by mystery man Thomas Gabriel (Timothy Olyphant), who plans to systematically shut down or destroy the nation's major networks over three days. McClane and his hacker friend have to stop the mastermind before it's too late. Finally, in 'A Good Day to Die Hard' (2013), McClane travels to Russia to help out his son Jack (Jai Courtney), who, unbeknownst to his father, is an undercover CIA operative trying to stop the theft of nuclear weapons.
