Fångad i sin egen gyllene bur utvecklar hon alltmer egensinniga karaktärsdrag och hänger sig åt saker som hon egentligen borde låta bli.<br/><br/>Indiedrottningen Vicky Krieps (Phantom Thread, Bergman Island) tog själv initiativet till denna film och har belönats med flertal priser för sitt vassa porträtt. Däribland European Film Awards och Un Certain Regard-juryns pris i Cannes för Bästa skådespelerska. Filmen var Österrikes bidrag till Oscarnomineringarna 2023.
