Snart förvandlas drömsemestern till en mardröm. I drogruset framträder spöklika skepnader som mördar ungdomarna brutalt en efter en. En av rollerna spelas av Robert Hoffman, som även var med i förra årets biosuccé och dvdaktuella She's the Man och tv-serien Vanished. Den irländske regissören Paddy Breathnach har tidigare gjort bl.a. Man About Dog och komedin Blow Dry med bl.a. Josh Hartnett och Bill Nighy. För sin dramakomedi I Went Down vann han hela sju priser på filmfestivaler världen över. Shrooms är i skrivande stund fortfarande under produktion. Den går upp på de svenska biograferna på Halloween.

Unable to afford the city's rising rental costs, Rosie works through a list of suitable accommodation given to her by her local authority, with little luck.
