Managing to escape and go into hiding, Hua then learns kung fu from local doctor and Wing Chun master Mr. Tsan (Bryan Leung) and, with the gang still on his trail, Hua and his friends must use their Wing Chun style of fighting to battle it out. In 'The Prodigal Son' (1981) Yuen Biao stars as Leung Chang, a tardy kung fu student from a wealthy family. He puts little effort into his studies but still continues to beat his opponents as his father always pays them to take a fall. In 'My Lucky Stars' (1985) Muscles (Chan) is a Hong Kong police officer who was raised in an orphanage. When his latest assignment takes him to Japan Muscles' partner is kidnapped. In order to free him and arrest the crook, Muscles calls on his former friends from the orphanage, who also happen to be ex-con men, to ably assist him.
