Chip Majors (James DuMont) is the Governor of Louisiana and everyone's top tip to be the Vice Presidential nominee of Presidential hopeful Senator Edmonds (Steven Bauer). Majors' past threatens to catch up with him, however, when a remorseless group, led by Graham (Billy Zane), launches a series of bids to assassinate him. A frantic battle for survival ensues, in which Majors will need to draw on all his former skills to make it through.
