At the memorial service of their friend, Miwa (Chishu Ryu), three of his old friends devise a plot to find a husband for his unmarried daughter, Ayako (Yoko Tsukasa). To their consternation, Ayako refuses to fall in with their plan, expressing a preference to remain with her mother, Akiko (Setsuko Hara). The three men all harbour a lifetime crush on Akiko but agree that one of them should marry Ayako, which causes conflict among both family and friends. A group of five friends in Cardiff hope to escape from the drab mundanity of their daily lives by embarking on a hedonistic weekend of drugs, clubs and sex. Jip (Simm) is desperate for a successful romantic encounter after a series of recent disasters while Lulu (Pilkington) is tired of always being cheated on. Moff (Dyer) is a small-time drug dealer who also happens to be the son of a policeman, Koop (Shaun Parkes) is paranoid that someone is going to steal his girlfriend Nina (Nicola Reynolds) and she is weary of facing constant harassment at work. Together the five friends move from nightclubs to house parties getting increasingly intoxicated as the night progresses, all the while knowing that the inevitable comedown awaits them.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>
