'Culloden' (1964) depicts the 1746 Battle of Culloden in which the British Army defeated the outnumbered Scottish Jacobite forces and shows events before and after the Jacobite rising was defeated. The film presents the historical event as if it was being featured on a modern TV report, by portraying the action as a documentary and interviewing the actors involved in the battle. Spanish conquistador Lope de Aguirre (Kinski) hopes to find El Dorado, the legendary city of gold, and is part of an expedition which travels deep into the Amazon in search of its location. A power struggle within the group leads to Aguirre seizing control and as he descends into madness, the remaining members of the doomed expedition face terror, starvation and death.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>

Tahei (Minoru Chiaki) and Matashichi (Kamatari Fujiwara) are two peasants hoping to make their fortunes by becoming soldiers but they run into trouble when they are mistaken for members of the Akizuki clan which has just been defeated after a fierce battle. Meanwhile, Rokurota Makabe (Mifune), a renowed Akizuki general, is attempting to escort Princess Yuki (Misa Uehara) to safety. When he encounters the two peasants, he realises they may be useful to him but as the four of them travel together, they face many challenges and Tahei and Matashichi's cowardice and greed could jeopardise Makabe's mission. Having been drafted by the Army naive farm hand Claude Bukowski (Savage) makes his way to New York where he encounters a commune of hippies, led by the charismatic George Berger (Williams), who discourage him from enlisting and expose him to an alternative lifestyle. With his desire for freedom the idealistic Bob does not hide the fact that he is involved with both Daniel and Alex, and they in turn accept the situation.
