Outspoken priest Urbain Grandier (Oliver Reed) finds himself accused of seducing a group of hysterical nuns while in demon form by Mother Superior Sister Jeanne (Vanessa Redgrave), who is obsessed with Grandier and driven into a fit of envy when he marries another woman. With the involvement of charismatic exorcist Father Barre (Michael Gothard), the affair turns into a sordid mass exorcism of the tainted convent. With much controversy surrounding its subject matter of religion combined with violence and sex, many cuts were made to the film in order for it to attain certification.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Murnau's silent classic 'Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror' (1922) and as an adaptation of Bram Stoker's novel 'Dracula'. Estate agent Jonathan Harker (Bruno Ganz) arrives at Count Dracula (Klaus Kinski)'s castle in Transylvania to complete the sale of a property Dracula is purchasing in the town of Wismar in Germany. Despite having been warned that the Count is a vampire, Jonathan remains skeptical but his time at the castle soon rids him of any doubt as to Dracula's true nature. In an attempt to escape he injures himself and is hospitalised while Dracula moves to Wismar and preys on Jonathan's wife Lucy (Isabelle Adjani)...<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Wandering samurai Sanjuro Kuwabatake (Mifune) arrives in a rural town in 19th century Japan which is overrun with criminals and is being fought over by two rival gangs. Determined to free the townsfolk from the oppressive grip of the gangsters, Sanjuro sparks open war between the two sides in the hope that they will destroy each other. However, his plans are complicated by the arrival of Unosuke (Nakadai), the younger brother of one of the gang leaders who prefers guns to swords and upsets the balance of power in the town. Wandering samurai Sanjuro Tsubaki (Mifune) encounters a clan of samurai who have been betrayed by the local superintendent. They had intended to present a formal accusation of corruption within their clan but would have been crushed by the superintendent's men had Sanjuro not defended them. Sanjuro soon finds himself embroiled in a plot to kidnap the local chamberlain and facilitate a power grab by the superintendent, but jaded as he is, Sanjuro feels he must also object to the behaviour of his fellow samurai. The cast also includes Tatsuya Nakadai, Yunosuke Ito and Masao Shimizu.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>
