'Culloden' (1964) depicts the 1746 Battle of Culloden in which the British Army defeated the outnumbered Scottish Jacobite forces and shows events before and after the Jacobite rising was defeated. The film presents the historical event as if it was being featured on a modern TV report, by portraying the action as a documentary and interviewing the actors involved in the battle. However, Ranuccio's partner Lena (Tilda Swinton) also becomes romantically linked to Caravaggio and soon jealously and passion result in a tragic ending for all involved. With his desire for freedom the idealistic Bob does not hide the fact that he is involved with both Daniel and Alex, and they in turn accept the situation. When his clan is defeated, disgraced yakuza enforcer Yamamoto (Kitano) escapes Japan and flees to Los Angeles. His estranged half-brother Ken (Maki) is a small-time drug dealer there and Yamamoto soon forges a successful operation and begins attacking rival gangs and taking control of their territory. However, when they come up against the Italian Mafia, they enter into a fight that they may not be able to win.
