I en snar framtid, efter världsvid ödeläggelse från det stora kriget, ligger den dekadenta megastaden Neo Tokyo. In 'The Adventure of Spiral Island' (2001) the Straw Hat crew must fight their way up Spiral Island to reclaim their ship, the Going Merry, from the devious siblings who have stolen it. In 'Chopper's Kingdom in the Strange Animal Island' (2002) the crew finds Crown Island and the talking animals which inhabit it. In 'The Cursed Holy Sword' (2004) the crew explore an island for a legendary sword of extreme value, but before they can make off with the loot there are marines, distractions and even betrayal to contend with. In 'Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island' (2005) the Straw Hats travel to a recreational island for some relaxation.
