El Drago scatters Luffy and his crew and presses on with his hunt, and so the Straw Hat pirates must regroup and find their own way to the island where the treasure is hidden if they wish to take it for themselves. In 'The Adventure of Spiral Island' (2001) the Straw Hat crew must fight their way up Spiral Island to reclaim their ship, the Going Merry, from the devious siblings who have stolen it. In 'Chopper's Kingdom in the Strange Animal Island' (2002) the crew finds Crown Island and the talking animals which inhabit it. But there is a shady character behind this competition, an ex-military commander in fact, whose plan is to lure all the pirates drawn by the competition into military waters and destroy them. The Straw Hats will need all their skill and ingenuity to escape with their lives, and maybe even the reward. In 'The Cursed Holy Sword' (2004) the crew explore an island for a legendary sword of extreme value, but before they can make off with the loot there are marines, distractions and even betrayal to contend with. In 'Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island' (2005) the Straw Hats travel to a recreational island for some relaxation.
