Taking the treasure for himself, he reappears as the Count of Monte-Cristo and becomes the talk of Parisian society. His happiness is short-lived however when he learns that Fernand has married Mercédès (Anaïs Demoustier), Edmond's own childhood sweetheart. In 'Fisherman's Friends: One and All' (2022), a year on from the successful release of their debut album, the band is in turmoil as they struggle to cope with the demands of their new-found fame. Faced with being dropped by their record label, the band searches for a new recruit to replace Jim (James Purefoy)'s late father, Jago (David Hayman). In the sequel 'St Trinian's 2' (2009) the mischief-making girls of St Trinian's are on the hunt for buried treasure after discovering that their headmistress Miss Fritton (Everett) is the descendant of a famous pirate.
