Managing to escape and go into hiding, Hua then learns kung fu from local doctor and Wing Chun master Mr. Tsan (Bryan Leung) and, with the gang still on his trail, Hua and his friends must use their Wing Chun style of fighting to battle it out. In 'The Prodigal Son' (1981) Yuen Biao stars as Leung Chang, a tardy kung fu student from a wealthy family. He puts little effort into his studies but still continues to beat his opponents as his father always pays them to take a fall. He is soon spying for the Emperor and investigating the secrets of the Empress Dowager (Sharla Cheung), but with the Heaven and Earth Society planning to attack the palace, Wai must obey his master and assist in the assault... In 'Royal Tramp II' (1992) Wai has made many enemies after foiling the plans of those who would overthrow the Emperor.
