The Goonies - Dödskallegänget är kultfilmen som väcker starka nostalgikänslor hos barnet inom oss än idag, 40 år efter premiär.<br/><br/>Bröderna Mikey (Sean Astin) och Brandon (Josh Brolin) med familj och vänner stortrivs i den lilla staden. Den hotas dock av ett stort företag som vill åt marken. Det enda sättet att rädda staden är genom att skaffa fram mycket pengar, fort. När Mikey råkar hitta en karta som visar var den ökände piraten One-Eye gömde guld och juveler drar hela gänget ut på skattjakt. Columbus hade nyss skrivit "Gremlins" (1984) som Spielberg producerade, och de hade blivit goda vänner.
