Sonen i huset kommer i kontakt med en flicka som inte existerar, och som varnar honom, men hans föräldrar tror honom inte. Freudstein lämnar ett spår av lemlästade kroppar efter sig i sin jakt på färska organ.<br/>The House by the Cemetery makerar slutet på Lucio Fulcis storhetsperiod som började med Zombie 2 1979.

Lucio Fulci (director of Beyond, NY Ripper, City of the living dead, House by the cemetery, Zombie 2 etc.) has not only directed but plays himself a horror film director in this gore drenched chiller. Fantasy and reality blur as decapitations, stabbings, dismemberments and chainsaw attacks plague him in nightmarish re-enactments of horrific moments from his repertoire. Believing he may be a killer, he visits a psychiatrist to be hypnotized. But is he truly a murderer or has the blood-soaked world of horror finally tipped him over the edge?
