In 'London Has Fallen' (2016) leading figures of the Western world gather in London to mourn the death of of the British Prime Minister. Despite the high security of the event, the funeral attendees, including President Asher, come under attack from terrorists intent on eradicating some of the world's most powerful leaders. With Asher's life at risk and the future of the world in danger Vice President Trumbull and Secret Service agent Banning try to save the day. Finally, in 'Angel Has Fallen' (2019) Banning is framed for the attempted murder of the President of the United States (Freeman) after he is the only member of his team to survive the assassination attempt. However, the brain he uses is damaged and when he finally succeeds in bringing his Creature (Lee) to life, it cannot be controlled and embarks on a murderous rampage.
