While in prison Rambo is forced to endure the abuse of a sadistic deputy, until he escapes and takes to the woods, relying on his old army skills to survive. In 'Rambo - First Blood Part II' (1985), Rambo is serving time in a federal prison when his old commander, Colonel Trautman (Richard Crenna), arranges his release. A group of American soldiers are still being held as prisoners of war in Vietnam, and Trautman wants Rambo to return to the killing fields on a daring rescue mission. In 'Rambo 3' (1988), Rambo has entered a Buddhist monastery in a bid to find inner peace. However, when his friend and mentor Colonel Trautman is captured in war-torn Afghanistan, Rambo sets out to save him. Finally, in 'Rambo' (2008), since helping the mujahedeen rid Afghanistan of the Russians, John Rambo has been living a quiet life in northern Thailand, trapping poisonous snakes to sell to local entertainers. But when a group of human rights missionaries pleads with him to ferry them upstream to Burma to re-supply the oppressed Karen tribe, Rambo reluctantly agrees. A few weeks later, however, word filters through that the missionaries have been taken hostage by the Burmese military, who are using them as pawns in their local war. Knowing the hostages have no other hope of rescue, Rambo sets out into the heart of the jungle on a one-man mission to hell and back.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>

Ofelia (Ivana Baquero) is a young girl in a remote mountain village in Spain in 1944 after Franco's ascension to power. To escape the upheaval and hardship her family faces (her father died in the war and her mother (Ariadna Gil) has been forced to re-marry to a despotic Captain in Franco's fascist army), Ofelia creates a world in her mind. It's a beautiful place though not without its dark side but she's guided by a ghastly yet kindly fawn creature. The Captain, it soon transpires, is more interested in the son Ofelia's mother is carrying, than he is in either Ofelia or her mother. Mercedes (Maribel Verdú), the Captain's considerate servant, and Dr. Ferreiro the Captain's physician, are, it transpires, in league with the revolutionaries in the woods surrounding the army encampment. These resistance fighters are intent on liberating the rationed food and medicines they need. As the increasingly manic and paranoid captain assassinates anyone who looks at him the wrong way with alarming regularity, Ofelia's secret quests set by the fawn creature to unlock the portal to another world become more and more urgent. With its deft mixing of CGI and actual character scenes, political and social statement, Pan's Labyrinth has been referred to already as 'The Citizen Kane of fantasy films'.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

When Julia later turns up dead, brutally stabbed in her apartment in exactly the way it happened in Carol's dream, Carol must try to distinguish between dreams and reality in order to solve the crime and prove that she is not the murderer - despite the fact that all the evidence points to her.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

During that period he appeared in 21 hit films, made over 230 records, and made hundreds of stage performances. This collection showcases some of his finest moments on the big screen. 'No Limit' (1935) was Formby's first major film role after leaving the music halls. Assistant chimney sweep George Shuttleworth (Formby) is laughed at by his friends when he dreams of winning the Isle of Man's TT Motor Cycle Race. Undeterred, he spends his time restoring his battered motorcycle to its former glory, and manages to set a new record at the trials when his brakes fail. In 'Let George Do It' (1940), George (Formby) is a ukelele-playing member of the Dinky-Do band, who is mistaken for a British agent and dispatched to Norway on a secret mission. Teaming up with Mary (Phyllis Calvert) - a real operative - George stops bandleader Mendez (Garry Marsh) sending coded musical messages to his Nazi paymasters over the radio, but falls afoul of some enemy agents when they pump him full of a truth drug. Can George overcome the Germans, save the day and win Mary's heart? In 'Turned Out Nice Again' (1941), George Pearson (Formby) works in the manufacturing industry and produces a high quality line of traditional womens' underwear. But the poor fellow loses his job when he invests heavily in a revolutionary new yarn which turns out to be as good as useless. Never mind, though: George is going to prove the worth of his yarn, and produce some attractive and modern ladies' undergarments while he's at it... In 'I See Ice' (1938), George Bright (Formby) is a photographer's assistant who dreams of making it big, but his attempts to obtain a scoop only result in him getting the sack. George gets a job as the property man for an ice ballet company, but keeps up his hobby in his spare time. After inventing a miniature camera that can be concealed in his bowtie, George inadvertently takes an incriminating snap of a leading journalist, which leads to him being acclaimed as a major photographic talent. But will his new-found success help him to woo icy young skater Judy Gaye (Kay Walsh)? In 'Spare a Copper' (1940), George (Formby) is an inept reserve policeman working in wartime Liverpool, who is chosen by a gang of Nazi saboteurs as the stooge for their planned destruction of the British battleship HMS Hercules. Framed by the villains and forced to go on the run, George sets out to clear his name with the aid of his new girlfriend Jane (Dorothy Hyson). In 'It's In The Air' (1939), George (Formby) agrees to salvage the situation after his sister's serviceman boyfriend forgets to deliver a message to his sergeant major. Impersonating the RAF man to gain entry into the local aerodrome, George finds it impossible to drop his disguise, and soon finds himself behind the controls of a state-of-the-art bomber. Finally, in 'Come On, George' (1939), George (Formby) is a drifter on the run from the police, who meets up with a disagreeable stallion while hiding in a horse box.
