In 'Cry Blood, Apache' (1970) five wandering prospectors discover gold at an Apache camp, and quickly despatch the resident Indians bar one woman (Marie Gahua), who they hope can lead them to more riches. A brave who was absent at the time of the killings returns to discover the massacre and quickly sets out to track the murderers down, meting out justice the Apache way. In 'Mohawk' (1956) Boston artist Jonathan Adams (Scott Brady) travels to Mohawk Valley to paint portraits of the Native Americans, and while there falls in love with the local Indian chief's daughter, Onida (Rita Gam). But when a resentful local landowner, Butler (John Hoyt), tries to instigate a war with the Indians, Adams is forced to step in to stop the bloodshed. In 'The Battle of Bloody Stones' (1967), an episode from the 'Cimarron Strip' TV series, John Wolf (Tom Nardini), the son of Indian Chief Ghost Wolf (Henry Wilcoxon), is killed as a result of a re-enactment show put on by Wildcat Gallagher (Gene Evans). It is up to Marshal Jim Crown (Stuart Whitman) to suppress the outbreak of war between the Indian tribe and Gallagher's posse. In 'Heller' (1968), another episode from 'Cimarron Strip', Marshal Crown is badly injured when chasing thief Logan Purcell (Morgan Woodward) and his fellow outlaws. When Heller (Tuesday Weld), a young woman with connections to Purcell's gang, helps Crown to recover, the two decide to run away to Cimarron but are chased by the crooks who are determined to punish Heller for her betrayal. In 'Sitting Bull' (1954), set in the lead-up to the Battle of Little Bighorn, Major Robert Parrish (Dale Robertson) is disgusted with the US Army's treatment of the Sioux Indians in the Black Hills of Dakota. Parrish attempts to make peace between the warring sides, but when he fails, a final brutal battle ensues. J. Carrol Naish co-stars in the title role. Finally, 'Kentucky Rifle' (1956) follows a group of travellers whose wagon breaks down in Comanche territory. Concealed in the travellers' wagon are Kentucky rifles, made for settlers to defend themselves against the natives. Aware these weapons are in the group's possession, the Comanche tribe deliver an ultimatum - if they do not hand over the rifles, they will not be allowed to pass safely through the Indians' land.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

During World War II in the Japanese-occupied Philippines, a motor torpedo boat is taken out by the enemy and surviving crew member Palmer, along with his comrade Jim Mitchell (Tom Ewell), is stranded in Cebu where he helps the locals put together a resistance movement. While there he meets and falls for a Frenchwoman, Jeanne Martinez (Micheline Presle), who joins the movement. After years of battling the enemy, the fighters find themselves cornered by the Japanese troops with little chance of escaping.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

'D-Day: Assault on Fortress Europe' presents an historic account of the 1944 Allied invasion of Normandy using archive footage. 'Battle of Britain: The Fight for the Sky' looks at the Battle of Britain in1940, where the threat of invasion from Germany was extremely high, and women and children were forced to leave the cities for the countryside, in the case of a major bomb attack. This was a battle Britain had to win, even if they were unprepared for what was to come. But one man had the strategy to hold off the Luftwaffe attack, Air Chief Marshall Sir Hugh Dowling. Finally 'Dunkirk: Battle for France' presents an historic account of the famous strategic withdrawal.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

A poet, writer and connoisseur, William would seem ripe for the taking, except for the fact that Laura resembles his long-lost daughter, to whom he owes a murderous debt... In 'View of Terror' (2003) a successful businesswoman becomes the target of a stalker. Life is good for New York restaurant owner Celeste (Shannen Doherty). With a successful business, a great love-life, and a new uptown apartment with panoramic views, things are certainly on the up. But the good life turns sour when she becomes the victim of a stalker, responsible for sending her suspicious packages and making disturbing phone calls in the middle of the night. As the nightmare continues, Celeste begins to suspect everyone - especially one of her neighbours across the street, whose window looks into hers. 'Ruby's Dream' (1982) stars Joe Pesci as Ruby Dennis, the small-time owner of a bowling alley and nightclub in a working-class area of New Jersey, who dreams of making it big in the glitzy world of Las Vegas. In the pursuit of his dreams, however, he ends up losing a lot more than he gains, and comes to realise what is truly important in his life. In 'Shattered Silence' (1972) a woman is tormented by mysterious phone calls. When Helen Connelly (Elizabeth Ashley) starts receiving calls from her long-dead nephew, she's naturally a little on edge. But when the people he criticises in the calls start dying in suspicious accidents, panic sets in, and fearing she's next on the supernatural hit-list, Helen seeks help from her ex-husband (Ben Gazzara). 'The Mogul' (1984) stars Danny DeVito as New York trucking owner Vic De Salvo. Sure that he can do better than what's being served up on his local TV channel, Vic sends his ideas off to the station boss. With his head already on the block, the outgoing station programmer decides to throw a spanner in the works by giving one of Vic's third-rate ideas the green light. But when his new show becomes an overnight ratings success, Vic soon finds himself the saviour of a corrupt industry. In 'Who Killed Joy Morgan?' (1981) police inspector Lou Corbin (Robert Culp) is assigned to investigate the brutal murder of a young woman, Joy Morgan (Ann Dusenberry).
