In 'The Night of the Shooting Stars' (1982) a woman tells her sleeping son a story from her childhood during the war. In the summer of 1944, German forces are retreating out of Italy and leaving devastation in their wake. Her town is threatened with destruction, but if wishes are made on the night of San Lorenzo when shooting stars are seen, they may come true. She survives the night and wishes to pass this knowledge to her child. 'Padre Padrone' (1977) follows Gavino (Saverio Marconi), a young boy whose tyrannical father wants him to become a shepherd. Determined to attend university, Gavino finally escapes his isolated existence and becomes a linguistics professor. Finally, 'Kaos' (1984) consists of four parts based on short stories by Luigi Pirandello which explore different aspects of life in 19th century Sicily. In 'Sharknado' (2013), when a freak hurricane arises off the coast of Los Angeles, the city finds itself inundated by hundreds of man-eating sharks that have been swept up in the raging storm's waterspouts. Setting out to rescue his estranged wife April (Reid) and teenage daughter Claudia (Aubrey Peeples), beachfront bar owner Fin (Ziering) teams up with his son Matt (Chuck Hittinger) in a last ditch attempt to blow the sharks out of the skies with the aid of helicopter-thrown bombs. In 'Sharknado 2 - The Second One' (2014), a year after the freak hurricane that hit Los Angeles, another storm is on the horizon, but this time it's heading for New York City. Undeterred by their previous encounter with man-eating sharks falling from the sky, Fin and April put their heads together in order to save the Big Apple. In 'Sharknado 3 - Oh Hell No!' (2015), after the freak sharknadoes in Los Angeles and New York, another storm is brewing, this time threatening all of the East Coast. Fin and April team up once again to save the nation's capital and President (Mark Cuban) before trying to destroy a deadly sharkicane in Florida. In 'Sharknado 4 - The 4th Awakens' (2016), five years after their last battle with man-eating sharks, Fin and April return ready to destroy yet another freak sharknado that is heading for Las Vegas. In 'Sharknado 5 - Global Swarming' (2017) the freak storms move towards Europe after devastating much of America. After their son is caught up in one of the storms, Fin and April, who happen to be visiting London, find themselves once again trying to stop another sharknado from wreaking havoc across the globe. However, two weeks later and 3,000 miles away, a family receive an old lamp bought in a yard sale in Amityville. It appears the spirit has found a means of escape... In 'Amityville 1992 - It's About Time' (1992) an architect brings home an old clock which houses an evil spirit. As space and time are altered by the clock, his family are possessed and people start to die. 'Amityville: A New Generation' (1993) finds struggling photographer Keyes Terry (Ross Partridge) given a demonic mirror from the house in Amityville. People are dying and the mirror has a murderous mission for Keyes. Finally, in 'Amityville Dollhouse' (1996) Bill and Claire Martin (Robin Thomas and Starr Andreeff) stumble upon a doll's house replica of the Amityville house.
