After working as an assistant to the renowned filmmaker Pawel Pawlikowski, Isaacs has created three films that each capture a part of modern life in Britain. The first, 'Lift' (2001), is filmed in the elevator of a tower block in the East End of London, and captures the different reactions and behaviour of those who enter it. The second, 'Travellers' (2002), is a touching film about the human need for love, which is shown through the stories of five different people Isaacs meets on trains and at train stations across England. The third film, 'Calais - The Last Border' (2003), examines a host of interesting characters that includes refugees and migrants desperate to cross The Channel to England, and Steve who runs an English pub in the French harbour town.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

The feature follows nine people living in the remote and forgotten villages of the Tatra mountains as they struggle with dire poverty and deprivation - a sharp contrast to the communist propaganda of the time which promised citizens a socialist paradise. Amongst the lives documented are farmers, spiritualists and the elderly who struggle with disabilties and addictions on a daily basis. Banned by the state upon its initial release, the film was only allowed to surface 16 years later.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

'Someday My Prince Will Come' (2005) looks at life in a small coastal town in Cumbria and follows a young girl and her cousin as they share memories from their childhood and begin to think about what the future may hold. 'Philip and His Seven Wives' (2005) tells the story of Philip Sharp, an ex-rabbi attempting to build a new godly family in his quiet suburban neighbourhood.
