Unfortunately, Buckmaster is surrounded by desperate shallow-minded record executives with a quick buck mentality and little ability to recognize true talent. Whilst in the middle of recording an inspirational album with The Group, Buckmaster is forced to divert and concentrate all his efforts on a talentless trio called The Pages. The pressures and corruption of the recording industry begin to weigh him down, and ultimately force him to make crucial decisions about the success of The Pages and The Group.
