After not receiving an invite to his crush Tatjani (Aniya Wendel)'s upcoming birthday party and with his alcoholic mother in rehab, Maik recruits Tschick and heads off on an impromptu journey in a stolen car. With this practice illegal in 1950s England, Vera risks imprisonment when the authorities discover what she perceives as her selfless acts of charity. When ex-circus performer Louison (Pinon) arrives looking for work, it seems that his head will be the next on the block.
