Efter den firade specialutgåvan av "Sgt Pepper" är det nu dags för nästa Beatlesklassiker att bli rejält uppgraderad: 50-årsfirande "The Beatles" - mest känd som "The White Album", bandets kanske mest utmanande och omdiskuterade platta. To create the new stereo audio mixes for 'The White Album,' Giles Martin and Sam Okell worked with an expert team of engineers and audio restoration specialists at Abbey Road Studios in London. This 3CD 'White Album' release includes Martin's new stereo album mix, sourced directly from the original four-track and eight-track session tapes. Martin's new mix is guided by the album's original stereo mix produced by his father, George Martin".<br/><br/>"During the last week of May 1968, The Beatles gathered at George's house in Esher, Surrey, where they recorded acoustic demos for 27 songs. Back in the early '70s, television was an integral tool for exposure of musical artists into the home. Completely decked out with his touring light show and stage setup in The Mothers' private rehearsal hall, Frank Zappa attempted to commit to videotape material for his own TV production, ultimately with the intention to shop to major networks. Unfortunately, there were technical issues that ultimately contributed to the footage being shelved and stored in the Vault.<br/> <br/>50 years later, with the advancements in post-production editorial tools, we present Cheaper Than Cheep. Hon har, precis som på debuten, inte samarbetat med några andra låtskrivare eller producenter förutom med sin bror Finneas O'Connell.
