When he learns that his girlfriend, paleontologist Dr. Sarah Harding (Julianne Moore) is already on the island, he agrees to go, not realising that a rival expedition is on its way with plans to capture the dinosaurs and transport them to the mainland. 'Jurassic Park III' (2001) sees Alan Grant approached by Paul and Amanda Kirby (William H. Macy and Téa Leoni), a wealthy couple who want a guide to escort them on a flight over Isla Sorna. Grant agrees to take the flight but as soon as they are over the island, the couple attempt a landing. Grant discovers that their son is lost on the island and they are desperate to find him but when a dinosaur attack disables the plane, the rescue party finds itself stranded and at the mercy of the island's prehistoric inhabitants. 'Jurassic World' (2015) is set 22 years after 'Jurassic Park' (1993) when Isla Nublar is reopened as a theme park. In order to boost attendance, operations manager Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) asks the park's geneticists to create genetically modified hybrid dinosaurs, the latest product of their experimentation being the Indominus rex. But when the Indominus rex escapes and begins killing other dinosaurs for sport, it's left to park staff member and behavioural researcher Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) to save the park's inhabitants. In 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' (2018), the Jurassic World theme park now lies in ruins and the dinosaurs of Isla Nublar have been left to roam freely on the island. However, with a massive volcanic eruption threatening their existence, Claire Dearing recruits Owen Grady and the two return to the island in a bid to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from the impending disaster. With time running out, the pair soon find their plans complicated further when they uncover a conspiracy which could put the future of the world at risk. In 'Jurassic World: Dominion' (2022), dinosaurs now live alongside humans all over the world. Owen Grady and Claire Dearing are joined by Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler and Ian Malcolm to try to determine whether the two species can live together in peace. Finally, 'Jurassic World: Rebirth' (2025) is set five years later when most of the world's surviving dinosaurs have settled in remote tropical regions. Mercenary Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) is recruited by a pharmaceutical company to obtain DNA from three different species of hybrid dinosaurs to further life-saving and lucrative medical research. In 'Rope' (1948), flatmates Brandon (John Dall) and Philip (Farley Granger) murder their friend David Kentley (Dick Hogan) purely to see if they can get away with it. They then throw a cocktail party, serving food from the top of the trunk where they have hidden David's body. Their guests include both David's father and fiancée, as well as college lecturer Rupert Cadell (James Stewart), who becomes increasingly suspicious as the evening goes on. In 'The Man Who Knew Too Much' (1956) Dr. Ben McKenna (Stewart) is on holiday in Morocco with his wife, former singer Jo (Doris Day), and son Hank (Christopher Olsen) when he meets the friendly but mysterious Frenchman Louis Bernard (Daniel Gelin). The McKennas are also befriended by the Draytons, an English couple who take them to the local bazaar. There, Ben is confronted by an Arab man who, after being shot in the back, whispers a dying message to him. It transpires that the Arab is in fact a disguised Bernard, and that he has entrusted Hank with the identity of a British politician who is due to be assassinated. After being questioned by the police, Ben and Jo return to their hotel, only to discover that the Draytons have checked out and taken Hank with them in order to ensure Ben's silence. In 'Torn Curtain' (1966), famous nuclear physicist Michael Armstrong (Paul Newman) defects to East Germany with the intention of acquiring a secret formula from enemy scientist Gustav Lindt (Ludwig Donath). However, Armstong's mission is jeopardised when he is followed by his assistant and fiancée Sarah Sherman (Julie Andrews). In 'Topaz' (1969), CIA agent Michael Nordstrom (John Forsythe) learns from a Soviet defector that Russia has become embroiled in the Cuban missile crisis via a NATO spy codenamed Topaz. Enlisting the help of French agent Andre Devereaux (Frederick Stafford), Nordstrom attempts to discover the link, but his actions have disastrous international consequences. Finally, in 'Frenzy' (1972), Barry Foster stars as market trader Robert Rusk, a psychopathic killer who strangles women with ties. In 'Tremors' (1990), handymen Val McKee (Kevin Bacon) and Earl Basset (Fred Ward) are preparing to leave the small desert town of Perfection, Nevada when their departure is halted by strange rumblings beneath the earth. Seismology student Rhonda LeBeck (Finn Carter) reveals that the tremors have been caused by giant underground monsters, which the unlikely trio are soon battling for their lives. In 'Tremors 2: Aftershocks' (1996), when workers at a Mexican oil refinery find an infestation of Graboids, they turn to Earl for help. He recruits old friend Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) and they begin to hunt the creatures together, aided by Grady Hoover (Christopher Gartin) and scientist Kate Reilly (Helen Shaver). Unfortunately for them however, the creatures have evolved and are now able to replicate exceptionally quickly, making stopping them an almost impossible task. In 'Tremors 3: Back to Perfection' (2001), Perfection, having survived the acts of the giant 'Graboid' and 'Shrieker' worms, is now once again facing a terrifying external threat - this time from dodgy property developers. Grizzled survivalist Burt returns to his hometown to face down the situation but things go from bad to worse when a third, mutated strain makes its presence felt and he must once again do battle with the Graboids. In the prequel 'Tremors 4: The Legend Begins' (2004), the workers of the remote mining town of Rejection, Nevada, fall victim to an unseen predator. The mine's owner, Hiram Gummer (Gross), hires a mercenary to destroy the carnivorous creatures before they swallow his profits. This results in the battleground moving from deep in the earth to the streets of Rejection. 'Tremors 5: Bloodlines' (2015) follows hardened survivalist and Perfection resident Burt as he hunts down a supposedly isolated subterranean monster in the South African wilderness. However, the hunters soon become the hunted when Burt and the rest of his crew, including wildlife reserve worker Travis Welker (Jamie Kennedy), discover what they're really up against. In 'Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell' (2018), accompanied by Travis, Burt heads to Canada to investigate reports of giant worm attacks. Suspecting that the evil Graboids are being turned into weapons, Burt faces a race against time to prove his theory after he is infected by a new strain of Graboid venom. In 'Tremors: Shrieker Island' (2020), when a rich trophy hunter illegally releases some Graboids to an island resort, Burt is called upon to save the residents and stop the dangerous Graboids from taking over. Finally, the television series 'Tremors' (2003) follows on from the events of 'Tremors 3: Back to Perfection' (2001) where the residents of Perfection Valley must learn to live alongside an albino Graboid called El Blanco.
