All four films in the espionage thriller franchise based on the Jason Bourne novels by Robert Ludlum. In the first film, 'The Bourne Identity' (2002), CIA assassin Bourne (Matt Damon) is pulled out the Mediterranean by fishermen, badly wounded and suffering from amnesia. Unable to recall either who he is or what has happened to him, his only clue to his identity is the number of a Swiss bank account which has been etched into a device implanted in his body. Following the lead to Zurich, he discovers money, passports and a gun waiting for him, but also earns the attention of the security services and has to leave in a hurry. He then persuades a young woman named Marie Kreutz (Franka Potente) to drive him to Paris, where he hopes to find out his true identity and discover the reason why the CIA are taking such an interest in him. In the second instalment, 'The Bourne Supremacy' (2004), Bourne has left his violent past behind him and is living a normal life with girlfriend Marie under an assumed name. But his plans for a peaceful life are crushed when he narrowly escapes an assassination attempt. Now hunted by an unknown enemy, Bourne must prove that he is not an easy target. In 'The Bourne Ultimatum' (2007), Bourne races to uncover the dark mysteries of his past while a government agent is hot on his trail following a shootout in Moscow. Finally, 'The Bourne Legacy' (2012) moves away from the central Bourne character (played in the opening trilogy by Matt Damon) to focus on a new protagonist, CIA operative Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner). The film, which takes up events where 'The Bourne Ultimatum' left off, sees Cross making the vow to give himself over completely to 'the operation', quickly proving himself to be the shining star in a new generation of deadly undercover assassins.

In 'Dracula' (1931) Renfield (Dwight Frye) travels to Transylvania to facilitate Count Dracula (Bela Lugosi)'s forthcoming move to England. After ignoring warnings from the locals, he is attacked and enslaved by Dracula, who is in fact a centuries-old vampire. Upon arriving in England with Renfield, Dracula is drawn to Mina Seward (Helen Chandler) and seeks to claim her for his own but her fiancé John Harker (David Manners) and Professor Van Helsing (Edward Van Sloan) are determined to save her and put an end to Dracula's malevolent schemes. In 'Frankenstein' (1931) scientist Henry Frankenstein (Colin Clive) is consumed with the desire to create life. He assembles a monster (Boris Karloff) out of body parts acquired by his assistant Fritz (Frye) and succeeds in reanimating it during an electrical storm. However, the monster possesses the brain of a killer and proceeds to escape and terrorise the local community. 'The Mummy' (1932) follows the members of an archaeological expedition who discover a sarcophagus in an unmarked grave. It contains the mummy of Imhotep (Karloff), who was buried alive thousands of years ago as punishment for attempting to bring his deceased lover back to life. Now resurrected, Imhotep begins searching for his reincarnated beloved. In 'The Invisible Man' (1933) Dr. Jack Griffin (Claude Rains) discovers the secret of invisibility but in the process drives himself insane. Soon he is no longer satisfied with playing pranks on other people and his actions take a murderous turn. In 'The Bride of Frankenstein' (1935) Henry Frankenstein (Clive) believes his creation has been destroyed until his former mentor Dr. Septimus Pretorius (Ernest Thesiger) blackmails him into creating a mate (Elsa Lanchester) for the monster. 'The Wolf Man' (1941) sees Larry Talbot (Lon Chaney Jr.) return home to Wales where he falls in love with local girl Gwen Conliffe (Evelyn Ankers). When Gwen's friend Jenny (Fay Helm) is attacked by a wolf, Larry attempts to save her. He kills the wolf but is bitten in the process and transforms into a werewolf the following night. When he attempts to flee to protect those he loves, tragedy awaits. In 'The Phantom of the Opera' (1943) Paris Opera House violinist Erique Claudin (Rains) loves singer Christine DuBois (Susanna Foster) and pays for her lessons without her knowledge. After he is burned by acid, he steals a mask and hides in the sewers beneath the Opera House where he devotes himself to furthering Christine's career. Finally, in 'Creature from the Black Lagoon' (1954), members of an expedition in the Amazon discover a 'Gill-man' who is half man and half amphibian. It falls in love with Kay Lawrence (Julie Adams) and kidnaps her but Kay's colleagues are determined to save her and kill the creature.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / Box Set</i>

In 'Jurassic Park' (1993) eccentric scientist John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) plans to open a theme park on Isla Nublar populated by live dinosaurs which have been genetically engineered from DNA found in a preserved prehistoric mosquito. Archaeologists Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) are invited to view the park along with chaos theory expert Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum), only to find themselves being hunted when the dinosaurs break free. The sequel 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park' (1997) is set four years later on the neighbouring Isla Sorna where the dinosaurs for the park were bred. John Hammond contacts Ian Malcolm and asks him to visit the island to document the dinosaur activity. When he learns that his girlfriend, paleontologist Dr. Sarah Harding (Julianne Moore) is already on the island, he agrees to go, not realising that a rival expedition is on its way with plans to capture the dinosaurs and transport them to the mainland. 'Jurassic Park III' (2001) sees Alan Grant approached by Paul and Amanda Kirby (William H. Macy and Téa Leoni), a wealthy couple who want a guide to escort them on a flight over Isla Sorna. Grant agrees to take the flight but as soon as they are over the island, the couple attempt a landing. Grant discovers that their son is lost on the island and they are desperate to find him but when a dinosaur attack disables the plane, the rescue party finds itself stranded and at the mercy of the island's prehistoric inhabitants. 'Jurassic World' (2015) is set 22 years after 'Jurassic Park' (1993) when Isla Nublar is reopened as a theme park. In order to boost attendance, operations manager Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) asks the park's geneticists to create genetically modified hybrid dinosaurs, the latest product of their experimentation being the Indominus rex. But when the Indominus rex escapes and begins killing other dinosaurs for sport, it's left to park staff member and behavioural researcher Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) to save the park's inhabitants. In 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' (2018), the Jurassic World theme park now lies in ruins and the dinosaurs of Isla Nublar have been left to roam freely on the island. However, with a massive volcanic eruption threatening their existence, Claire Dearing recruits Owen Grady and the two return to the island in a bid to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from the impending disaster. With time running out, the pair soon find their plans complicated further when they uncover a conspiracy which could put the future of the world at risk. In 'Jurassic World: Dominion' (2022), dinosaurs now live alongside humans all over the world. Owen Grady and Claire Dearing are joined by Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler and Ian Malcolm to try to determine whether the two species can live together in peace. Finally, 'Jurassic World: Rebirth' (2025) is set five years later when most of the world's surviving dinosaurs have settled in remote tropical regions. Mercenary Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) is recruited by a pharmaceutical company to obtain DNA from three different species of hybrid dinosaurs to further life-saving and lucrative medical research. In 'Rope' (1948), flatmates Brandon (John Dall) and Philip (Farley Granger) murder their friend David Kentley (Dick Hogan) purely to see if they can get away with it. They then throw a cocktail party, serving food from the top of the trunk where they have hidden David's body. Their guests include both David's father and fiancée, as well as college lecturer Rupert Cadell (James Stewart), who becomes increasingly suspicious as the evening goes on. In 'The Man Who Knew Too Much' (1956) Dr. Ben McKenna (Stewart) is on holiday in Morocco with his wife, former singer Jo (Doris Day), and son Hank (Christopher Olsen) when he meets the friendly but mysterious Frenchman Louis Bernard (Daniel Gelin). The McKennas are also befriended by the Draytons, an English couple who take them to the local bazaar. There, Ben is confronted by an Arab man who, after being shot in the back, whispers a dying message to him. It transpires that the Arab is in fact a disguised Bernard, and that he has entrusted Hank with the identity of a British politician who is due to be assassinated. After being questioned by the police, Ben and Jo return to their hotel, only to discover that the Draytons have checked out and taken Hank with them in order to ensure Ben's silence. In 'Torn Curtain' (1966), famous nuclear physicist Michael Armstrong (Paul Newman) defects to East Germany with the intention of acquiring a secret formula from enemy scientist Gustav Lindt (Ludwig Donath). However, Armstong's mission is jeopardised when he is followed by his assistant and fiancée Sarah Sherman (Julie Andrews). In 'Topaz' (1969), CIA agent Michael Nordstrom (John Forsythe) learns from a Soviet defector that Russia has become embroiled in the Cuban missile crisis via a NATO spy codenamed Topaz. Enlisting the help of French agent Andre Devereaux (Frederick Stafford), Nordstrom attempts to discover the link, but his actions have disastrous international consequences. Finally, in 'Frenzy' (1972), Barry Foster stars as market trader Robert Rusk, a psychopathic killer who strangles women with ties.
