In 'Tremors 2: Aftershocks' (1995), when workers at a Mexican oil refinery find an infestation of Graboids, they turn to Earl Bassett for help. Unfortunately for them however, the creatures have evolved and are now able to replicate exceptionally quickly, making stopping them an almost impossible task. As he attempts to lead the fight to destroy them, government agents seek to prevent him from hunting them. Meanwhile, things go from bad to worse when a new species of Graboid makes its presence felt. 'Tremors 4: The Legend Begins' (2004) is the prequel to 'Tremors' (1990). In 1889, workers in the remote mining town of Rejection, Nevada fall victim to an unseen predator. The mine's owner Hiram Gummer (Gross) hires gunfighter Black Hand Kelly (Billy Drago) to destroy the Graboids but with the entire town at risk, will Hiram flee or stand and fight? In 'Tremors 5: Bloodlines' (2015) survivalist star Burt and his cameraman Travis Welker (Jamie Kennedy) are called upon to help the South African Wildlife Ministry deal with a new species of Graboid. However, when they discover what they're really up against, the hunters become the hunted. In 'Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell' (2017) Burt and Travis travel to Canada to investigate reports of Graboid attacks. They fear that Graboids are being used by the American military to develop bio-weapons but face a race against time to save Burt when they learn that he has been infected by Graboid venom. Finally, in 'Tremors: Shrieker Island' (2020), big game hunter Bill (Richard Brake) has been genetically engineering Graboids, making them more powerful and intelligent and thus more challenging to hunt.
