All four films in the espionage thriller franchise based on the Jason Bourne novels by Robert Ludlum. In the first film, 'The Bourne Identity' (2002), CIA assassin Bourne (Matt Damon) is pulled out the Mediterranean by fishermen, badly wounded and suffering from amnesia. Unable to recall either who he is or what has happened to him, his only clue to his identity is the number of a Swiss bank account which has been etched into a device implanted in his body. Following the lead to Zurich, he discovers money, passports and a gun waiting for him, but also earns the attention of the security services and has to leave in a hurry. He then persuades a young woman named Marie Kreutz (Franka Potente) to drive him to Paris, where he hopes to find out his true identity and discover the reason why the CIA are taking such an interest in him. In the second instalment, 'The Bourne Supremacy' (2004), Bourne has left his violent past behind him and is living a normal life with girlfriend Marie under an assumed name. But his plans for a peaceful life are crushed when he narrowly escapes an assassination attempt. Now hunted by an unknown enemy, Bourne must prove that he is not an easy target. In 'The Bourne Ultimatum' (2007), Bourne races to uncover the dark mysteries of his past while a government agent is hot on his trail following a shootout in Moscow. Finally, 'The Bourne Legacy' (2012) moves away from the central Bourne character (played in the opening trilogy by Matt Damon) to focus on a new protagonist, CIA operative Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner). The film, which takes up events where 'The Bourne Ultimatum' left off, sees Cross making the vow to give himself over completely to 'the operation', quickly proving himself to be the shining star in a new generation of deadly undercover assassins.

In 'Rope' (1948), flatmates Brandon (John Dall) and Philip (Farley Granger) murder their friend David Kentley (Dick Hogan) purely to see if they can get away with it. They then throw a cocktail party, serving food from the top of the trunk where they have hidden David's body. Their guests include both David's father and fiancée, as well as college lecturer Rupert Cadell (James Stewart), who becomes increasingly suspicious as the evening goes on. In 'The Man Who Knew Too Much' (1956) Dr. Ben McKenna (Stewart) is on holiday in Morocco with his wife, former singer Jo (Doris Day), and son Hank (Christopher Olsen) when he meets the friendly but mysterious Frenchman Louis Bernard (Daniel Gelin). The McKennas are also befriended by the Draytons, an English couple who take them to the local bazaar. There, Ben is confronted by an Arab man who, after being shot in the back, whispers a dying message to him. It transpires that the Arab is in fact a disguised Bernard, and that he has entrusted Hank with the identity of a British politician who is due to be assassinated. After being questioned by the police, Ben and Jo return to their hotel, only to discover that the Draytons have checked out and taken Hank with them in order to ensure Ben's silence. In 'Torn Curtain' (1966), famous nuclear physicist Michael Armstrong (Paul Newman) defects to East Germany with the intention of acquiring a secret formula from enemy scientist Gustav Lindt (Ludwig Donath). However, Armstong's mission is jeopardised when he is followed by his assistant and fiancée Sarah Sherman (Julie Andrews). In 'Topaz' (1969), CIA agent Michael Nordstrom (John Forsythe) learns from a Soviet defector that Russia has become embroiled in the Cuban missile crisis via a NATO spy codenamed Topaz. Enlisting the help of French agent Andre Devereaux (Frederick Stafford), Nordstrom attempts to discover the link, but his actions have disastrous international consequences. Finally, in 'Frenzy' (1972), Barry Foster stars as market trader Robert Rusk, a psychopathic killer who strangles women with ties. However, suspicion falls on the innocent Richard Blaney (Jon Finch) after Rusk kills Blaney's ex-wife Brenda (Barbara Leigh-Hunt) and his current girlfriend Babs (Anna Massey).

Typ: Blu-ray / 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray (Boxset)

OBS! In 'Shrek' (2001), the vain yet diminutive ruler of the land, Prince Fahrquaad (John Lithgow) decides to streamline his kingdom by getting rid of all the fairytale characters who promptly decamp to live in Shrek's swamp. Faced with these unwanted tenants Shrek strikes a deal with the Prince, promising to find and return with Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz), marriage to whom will finally confer on the Prince his kingly status. In return the Prince promises to evict the various characters living on Shrek's land. Shrek's task is further irritated by the unwanted company of a tirelessly wise-cracking Donkey (Eddie Murphy), and while their adventure bears all the hallmarks of a classic fairytale, nothing in 'Shrek' turns out quite like you expect. In 'Shrek 2' (2004), Shrek returns from his honeymoon with his bride Princess Fiona to find an invitation from Fiona's parents, King Harold (John Cleese) and Queen Lilian (Julie Andrews) asking the newlyweds over to the Land Far, Far Away for dinner. On their arrival, they find that the King and Queen are less than pleased to see their daughter hitched to an affable green ogre, and looking rather the worse for wear herself compared to her former dazzling royal brilliance. When reminded by a conniving Fairy Godmother (Jennifer Saunders) of an ancient deal to match Fiona with her son, the vain and pompous Prince Charming (Rupert Everett), Shrek's new in-laws and their accomplices pull out all the stops to rid their kingdom of Shrek and restore their daughter to her former beauty - including hiring the services of notorious swashbuckling ogre-slayer Puss-in-Boots (Antonio Banderas). Murphy also reprises his role as the faithful Donkey. In 'Shrek the Third' (2007), when his frog-in-law suddenly croaks, Shrek embarks on another whirlwind adventure with Donkey and Puss in Boots to find the rightful heir to the throne, the awkward Arthur (Justin Timberlake). Unfortunately the envious Prince Charming has designs on the throne himself, joining with other fairytale villains in a coup d'etat to seize the crown. Can Shrek, with a magically misguided Merlin (voice of Eric Idle), a powerful posse of princesses, and a bundle of unexpected arrivals, manage to save the day? In 'Shrek: Forever After - The Final Chapter' (2010), after all of his many and varied adventures, Shrek has finally settled down to become a domesticated family ogre. Yearning for the days when he felt like a real ogre, Shrek is duped into signing a pact with smooth-talking wheeler-dealer Rumpelstiltskin (Walt Dohrn). He immediately finds himself plunged into a twisted alternate version of Far Far Away where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king, all his friends have completely different personalities, and Shrek and Fiona have never even met. It is now up to Shrek to save his friends, restore his world and reclaim his One True Love.

Typ: Blu-ray / 4K Ultra HD Boxset
