Angel's diligence and character sits ill with the locals, except for police officer Danny Butterman (Frost), who's a huge fan of buddy cop movies. The pair bond and join forces to uncover the truth about who is responsible for the crimes. Finally, in 'The World's End' (2013), galvanised by Gary (Pegg), 40-somethings Oliver (Martin Freeman), Andy (Frost), Steven (Paddy Considine) and Peter (Eddie Marsan) return to their home town for one last attempt at completing the Golden Mile pub crawl and reaching the final pub, The World's End. Franc Roddam directs this British drama based on The Who's 1973 rock opera of the same name. In London in 1964, young Mod Jimmy Cooper (Phil Daniels) seeks to escape the banality of his everyday life by partying, taking drugs, riding scooters and fighting with Rockers. The conflict between the Mods and the Rockers escalates when both groups travel to Brighton for the bank holiday weekend but Jimmy becomes increasingly disillusioned with his life in the aftermath. The cast also includes Leslie Ash, Sting and Mark Wingett.
