In 'Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl' (2003), when Elizabeth (Keira Knightley), the daughter of Governor Swann (Jonathan Pryce), is kidnapped by Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) and his band of pirates, lovelorn Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) goes to her rescue. Needing help to get on board the pirates' ship, Will enlists eccentric captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) and quickly sets off in pursuit. However, with the crew of the Black Pearl cursed to spend their time between the living and the dead and only the blood of Elizabeth able to lift the spell, the pair face a race against time to overcome the undead crew and rescue her before it's too late. In 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest' (2006), once again thrown into the world of the supernatural, Jack finds out that he owes a blood debt to the legendary Davy Jones (Bill Nighy), Captain of the ghostly Flying Dutchman. With time running out, Jack must find a way out of his debt or else be doomed to eternal damnation and servitude in the afterlife. But Jack will not give in without a fight, which is especially bad news for Will and Elizabeth, who get caught up in Jack's mishaps. If Jack can't find a way to rid himself of Davy Jones once and for all, it may just spell the end for the three adventurers. In 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End' (2007) after Elizabeth, Will and Captain Barbossa rescue Captain Jack from the land of the dead, they must once again face their foes Davy Jones and Lord Cutler Beckett (Tom Hollander). Beckett, now with control of Jones' heart, forms a dark alliance with him in order to rule the seas and wipe out the last of the pirates. Jack, Barbossa, Will, Elizabeth, Obeah witch Tia Dalma (Naomie Harris) and the rest of the crew must call the pirate lords, including the infamous Sao Feng (Chow Yun-Fat), and come together to make one final stand for freedom. In 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' (2011) Jack is enticed aboard the Queen Anne's Revenge - the ship of fearsome pirate and Jack's arch-nemesis Blackbeard (Ian McShane) - by a past love, Angelica (Penélope Cruz). He soon finds himself on an unexpected journey to the fabled Fountain of Youth, but is the beautiful and seductive Angelica all she appears to be? Finally, in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge' (2017) merciless ghost pirate Capitán Salazar (Javier Bardem) leads his crew of undead warriors on a mission to find the much sought-after Trident of Poseidon. With the wielder able to take total control of the world's oceans, Salazar hopes to use the ancient and powerful artefact to kill every pirate at sea, and in the process, take care of his former rival Captain Jack once and for all. When explorer Professor Porter (Nigel Hawthorne) arrives in the jungle with his daughter Jane (Minnie Driver) and adventurer Clayton (Brian Blessed), Tarzan discovers his human heritage for the first time, gradually learning how to speak and spending time at the visitors' encampment. However, although Porter merely wishes to study the gorillas, Clayton secretly plans to capture them and take them back to England, and tries to trick Tarzan into leading him to the tribe. 'Tarzan 2' (2005) is a prequel to the first film. Before he was King of the Jungle, Tarzan (Harrison Chad) was an awkward young kid just trying to fit in. When one of his missteps puts his family in jeopardy, Tarzan decides they would be better off with out him. His new journey brings him face to face with the mysterious Zugor (George Carlin), the most powerful force in the land. Together, Tarzan and Zugor discover that being different is not a weakness and that friends and family are the greatest strength of all. In 'Tarzan and Jane' (2002), it is a year since Tarzan (Michael T. Weiss) and Jane (Olivia d'Abo) started living together in the jungle, and Jane is looking for a special anniversary present for Tarzan. One day Lilo meets a strange alien who she decides to name Stitch and take home as her pet. Stitch at first causes trouble by destroying everything he can lay his hands on, but as time passes he becomes accustomed to the Hawaiian ways and is accepted as a regular part of the family. However, with representatives of Stitch's home planet following hot on his heels, it is unclear how long this happy situation can last. In 'Lilo and Stitch 2' (2005) Stitch is helping Lilo (Dakota Fanning) prepare for the big island hula contest. However, when Stitch, who was a result of one of Dr. Jumba Jookiba (David Odgen Stiers)'s experiments, gets a glitch, their perfect world goes haywire. Now it's going to take Lilo, Nani, Jumba and a whole lot of 'Ohana' for them to save their funny little friend. In 'Stitch! In 'Cars 2' (2011) when slow-witted tow truck Mater travels to Tokyo with his superstar friend Lightning McQueen for the international Grand Prix, sleek Aston Martin Finn McMissile (Michael Caine) and his sidekick Holley Shiftwell (Emily Mortimer) become convinced that Mater is, despite his unassuming appearance, nothing less than a brilliant international spy. Finally, in 'Cars 3' (2017), with a new generation of highly-tuned, ultra-fast racers led by seemingly unbeatable rookie Jackson Storm (Armie Hammer) dominating races, legendary speedster Lightning McQueen suddenly finds himself being muscled out of the sport he loves. After then pushing himself to the limit and crashing out of a meet at the Los Angeles International Speedway, Lightning is forced to step away from competing in order to recover from his injuries. But when Aladdin discovers a magic lamp in the Cave of Wonders, his quest begins: to defeat Jafar and win the hand of the princess, with the help of the Genie in the lamp (Robin Williams). In the sequel, 'The Return of Jafar' (1994), the evil sorcerer plots his revenge on Aladdin after being trapped inside a magic lamp. In the second sequel, 'Aladdin and the King of Thieves' (1996), Aladdin is worried about his impending marriage to Princess Jasmine, and in particular his future role as a father, as he has never known his own. Soon Scott finds himself putting on weight, growing a white beard and fulfiling his obligation to deliver presents to all the children around the world. He even finds himself reluctantly getting into the spirit of things. In 'The Santa Clause 2' (2002) it is now 8 years later and Calvin (Allen) has got used to the job. But things have started to go wrong; he begins to lose his resemblance to Santa and his son Charlie (Eric Lloyd) has ended up on the 'naughty' list. It transpires that Calvin's contract stipulates he has to have a Mrs Santa and so he sets off to find one, leaving a duplicate Santa the Elves made to cover for him. However, things are not that easy as Calvin finds women are not flocking to date a large, white-bearded man from the North Pole, and the duplicate Santa has begun to play up and may not give up the role. In 'Santa Clause 3 - The Escape Clause' (2006) it's Santa vs. Jack Frost as the two go head to head over who runs Christmas. In this third instalment of the series, Scott Calvin (Allen) aka Santa Clause is up against it. With his wife Carol/Mrs Clause (Elizabeth Mitchell) pregnant, and her parents due for a visit, a lightning makeover of Santa's village is needed to protect his identity. With too much to do and time running out, Santa's happy to let Jack Frost (Martin Short) step up and save the day. Unfortunately for Santa, Frost has been waiting to seize his moment, and soon he's in control of Christmas.
