In Genesis' incredible body of work, 'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway' is a landmark record. Originally released on 22 November 1974, at the pinnacle of their early success, it came at a pivotal point in Genesis' history. It is rated as one of the greatest albums of its era and one of the most influential progressive rock albums of all time.<br/> <br/>'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway 50th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition' is the album's definitive compendium, following the arc of the album's creation and tour. It is remastered and includes two encore tracks 'Watcher of the Skies' and 'The Musical Box'. This is the first time the full live show, including the encore tracks, has been released in its entirety.<br/><br/>- Three never-before-released demos from the legendary Headley Grange Session, included as part of a digital download card with the full audio from the set.<br/><br/>- A 60-page coffee table style book with Alexis Petridis liner notes, who interviewed all five band members to tell the story of 'The Lamb...' - from the writing sessions to live performances - which is believed to be the only time this has happened since its original release. <br/><br/>- The book also features images from Armando Gallo, Richard Haines and other noted photographers. To celebrate the 40th anniversary for The Sisters Of Mercy's debut album 'First And Last And Always', a 4LP black and red marble coloured vinyl set is released. <br/><br/>It includes the original album alongside the three EP's that preceded its release - 'Body & Soul', 'Walk Away' and 'No Time To Cry'. Each EP features non-album bonus tracks.<br/><br/>Formed in Leeds by guitarist Gary Marx and vocalist Andrew Eldritch in 1980, they released 'First And Last And Always' in March 1985 and is the culmination of five years of independent releases that saw them build up a large cult following.<br/><br/>Their first release with Warner (who they signed to in 1984) it reached number 14 the UK Album Charts by which time the band featured Wayne Hussey on guitar and Craig Adams on bass - both of whom would later leave the band to form The Mission.

Choosing former Roxy Music member and David Bowie collaborator Brian Eno to produce them, Talking Heads expanded their sound greatly for their second album released in 1978. More Songs About Buildings And Food stands amongst the Talking Heads' best work. The influence of producer Brian Eno stands out as he helped propel the band forwards into increasingly innovative territory. The entire album, even the minor hit, an Eno-treated cover version of Al Green's "Take Me To The River," sounds amazingly fresh some thirty-six years later. This Super Deluxe Edition expands upon the original album with a bonus album featuring rare and previously unreleased studio outtakes as well as a previously unreleased in full complete show from the More Songs... tour recorded in October 1978 at Entermedia Theatre in New York City.
