Går det verkligen att sammanföra hundra år gammal poesi med det mest svenska av alla musikgenrer, nämligen dansband?<br/>Svaret på den frågan måste bli ett rungande JA! efter att Larz-Kristerz tagit sig an nobelpristagaren Erik Axel Karlfeldts dikter och med bravur visat att dalkarlens strofer är som gjorda för deras unika mix av country, pop, visa och glesbygds rock n roll.<br/>Kanske är den största beröringspunkten mellan dessa giganter den påtagliga tidlösheten.<br/>Karlfeldts naturromantiska diktning har sällan låtit mer autentisk än den gör när Larz-Kristerz levererar den som bara dom kan.<br/>Det är respektfullt, berörande och oemotståndligt på ett otvunget sätt som återger Karlfeldts poesi liv.

Robert Plant's Saving Grace, his first album with a new band of distinguished players, is what he calls "a song book of the lost and found." Its genesis was during lockdown in "The Shire," when Plant's customary wandering was all but forbidden. It was in the English countryside that he connected closely to this diverse group of musicians-vocalist Suzi Dian, drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, banjo and string player Matt Worley, cellist Barney Morse-Brown-who had a shared lean towards his corners of evocative song. Produced by Plant and the band and recorded over six years in the Cotswolds and on the Welsh Borders, Saving Grace breathes fresh life into a treasury of songs by Memphis Minnie, Bob Mosley (Moby Grape), Blind Willie Johnson, The Low Anthem, Martha Scanlan, Sarah Siskind, and Low.

In Genesis' incredible body of work, 'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway' is a landmark record. Buckingham Nicks is the only studio album by the iconic duo of Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. Produced by Keith Olsen, the album was released in September 1973, just a year prior to the pair joining forces with Fleetwood Mac on New Year's Eve 1974.<br/>Buckingham Nicks has achieved legendary status despite, and perhaps due to the fact, that it has never been remastered, reissued, or officially released digitally. Until now. This was the album that caught Mick Fleetwood's attention and led them becoming one of the most successful bands of all time.<br/><br/>LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM: "I met Mick right before New Year's Eve in 1974. Stevie and I were living in LA. We'd done an album on Polydor as a duo, which had come out without making much of a splash, and we were trying to figure out what the hell to do next. Anyway, we were doing demos of new tunes one day at Sound City studio in the San Fernando Valley. At one point I walked towards the control room. I heard a song of ours, "Frozen Love", being played very loudly and I saw this giant of a man standing up, grooving to a guitar solo of mine. I thought, "What is goin' on?", and left them to it. That man was Mick.<br/>When he heard my guitar something obviously clicked in his mind, because after their guitarist Bob Welch left, I got a call from Mick asking if I wanted to join Fleetwood Mac. Originally they weren't looking for a duo, but I said Stevie and I were a package deal."

Neil Young continues his Official Release Series (ORS) with the next installment of four classic titles from the 1990s. ORS Vol 6: Discs 26, 27, 28 & 29 collects HARVEST MOON, UNPLUGGED, SLEEPS WITH ANGELS and MIRROR BALL in the ongoing reissue series. <br/><br/>Each disc in the limited edition, numbered box sets will contain 4 albums with the original, historically accurate artwork and will be reissued on double vinyl LPs, while the CD box contains single CD sets per title. MIRROR BALL is an analog recording and the album has been remastered from the original analog masters by John Hanlon and Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering. It included originals written in the 1980s as well as brand new songs, which quickly became fan favorites and one of the most beloved albums in Young's recorded output. <br/> <br/>UNPLUGGED (ORS Disc 27), originally released in 1993, was first recorded for an MTV Unplugged concert, along with additional live recordings. Young thoughtfully assembled a group of musicians he had recorded with over the years for this special aggregation that quickly became a collector's item as tapes were first shared from the show among his fans. The official live album is considered an acoustic one-of-a-kind release from Young's 90's cannon. <br/> <br/>SLEEPS WITH ANGELS (ORS Disc 28), originally released in 1994, is an album that wrote its own legend when released. Including the 14-minute song "Change Your Mind" and "Unknown Legend," it had a distinctiveness with Crazy Horse that Young achieved by keeping the sessions as spontaneous and immediate as possible allowing the tracks to breathe and come to life in real time. SLEEPS WITH ANGELS was the last album to be produced by Neil's long-time collaborator David Briggs, who passed away in 1995 at age 51, which also brings a special meaning to these recordings. <br/> <br/>MIRROR BALL (ORS Disc 29), is a double-album originally released in 1995 and recorded with Pearl Jam. Considering the Seattle band was one of the prime movers of rock bands in the 1990s, it was an event immediately upon its release, and found a rabid, younger audience and inspired long-time fans alike with its inherent high energy. Songs like "I Am The Ocean," "Throw Your Hatred Down" helped impact so much of the second half of the 1990s. <br/> <br/>The OFFICIAL RELEASE SERIES VOLUME 6 - DISCS 26, 27, 28 & 29 (ORS Vol 6) captures a large visceral part of the era, when Young was continuing his exploration of music with an unrelenting edge, in ways that he hadn't really done before. These four releases took him towards a new century, and anticipated some of the musical places he would soon explore. The songs also capture some of the massive changes that the 2000s would bring, and ways that music would take on challenges that are still very much being met.
